After a heavy night on the bottle, Den steps out the backdoor of the Vic and sparks up a fag. Feeling happy with himself and his band of merry mens work in the last day he turns towards the alley where he sees a familiar face from last nights lock in. Never one to pass up an opportunity Den picks up a piece of wood and moves towards his victim. Den took a swing of the wood and smacks Katie across the head.

    Katie WW has been munched.

Katie, huh? Detective Barbara's list means this is a bit surprising.

Ok village, you don't need to worry, cause Columbo is on the case.

Here's what I had on Katie from the notes I took.

Katie - Post #53 was super quick to dismiss possible talks of tasks. Was super eager to drive discussion away from it quickly.
Over night, Katie seemed to take an interest in the fact I was taking notes. Again, super eager nearly (at least as far as Day 0 fluff goes)

I had Katie down as either a baddie or rolled goodie, so if she was munched, I worry that could be a bad one for the village.

I liked her. She 'got' me :(

So given the lack of a role reveal we can assume there is a priest, right?

    Oh, also another musing.

    5a8c52c6576be0c9e71ef2fe30ff06ef.gif

Katie was the third highest poster in the game so far. Steve and Clodagh are 1 and 2.

If it was a blind stab in the dark, then why go after the third highest poster, and not first or second?

Possibility that either they caught Katie playing a game, or Steve and Clodagh are a little suspicios based on that.

Oh jeez... what makes you say that? Such an odd line to put forward.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,236 ✭✭✭Steve WW

    Cos, like...

I'm good and I have Clodagh down as good too.

    That's right mofos.

    I'm building a town core.

Nah, just throwing mud at the wall.

Had five names on my list last night. One is dead.

Why do you think Katie was targeted this morning? Pot luck? Post count? Wolves spotted a task or role claim?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,669 ✭✭✭Doris WW

I know we shouldn't assume anything, but if we are to believe there is only one wolf team (at least at this point) it kinda rules out any task last night.

However, there could have been a task for a rolled vil to compete against the wolves to save the munch this morning and they failed. If this was a scenario, could the wolves have thought Katie was there competition?

There has to be more than 4 wolves among 26, be prepared for conversions if there is only one wolf team I think.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,258 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

People always go after high posters and leave low posters alone early on, leaving no contributing high posters and a core village group of low posters who haven't contributed, which is easier for wolves to hide in. If that's your logic Babs then I acknowledge it but don't put much stock in it. It assumes the wolves are going by post count.....why do you think they are?

Lynch low, peek high I say.

Combined with the FFAs today for revision in for future days, and ongoing analysis of interactions (as well as review of those with katie), and I think those are our best moves at the moment.

Pot luck if I'm honest. Not going into other reasons which are beyond the bounds of Walford.

Fair enough to throw mud, but if you logically look at it - what wolf rampages through the thread to the extent of myself, or by extension Clodagh (her first post was a sh1t tonne of videos) when basically all that's happening is people are posting GIFs and memes?

I mean, be suspicious of everyone, that's the game. But if I'm honest, all I see is reams of nonsense last night.

Katie did clash with you and Eva though, so...

    There's some mud back ;)

This line is sticking out for me this morning. What work did they do yesterday? A task? I know we shouldn't read into the death notices too much but with so little to go on in this game I'm jumping on anything.

Also who is Den? Dirty Den is in my head but I dunno what that's from.

Not a crazy amount of posts to analyse which is a bonus.

    That's a good shout actually.

The 'band of merry men' bit also may imply a group task?

Yeah, but also by that logic should we not suspect the late night posters after their 'day of drinking?'

I'm not reading too much into it.

    Flavour be flavour, yo.

    Innit.

Dirty Den IS Eastenders. RIP Leslie:(

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,258 ✭✭✭Clodagh WW

I didn't think they would do n0 tasks but if we go the route of hollys interpretation of the flavour it would be a good thing to investigate and could certainly be possible.

    Hmmmm...

Here's an idea, do it or don't up to you folks.

Everyone state a player they DON'T want to lynch today, and a reason. Perhaps we can build a town core through this for today, then re-evaluate tomorrow, of course.

    I'll even compile them.

    Let's call it...

    #FFANoLynch

    I'll even go first.

Clodagh - has similar playstyle to me I think, don't at the moment see it contingent with wolfy behaviour.

Thats a novel approach. Any downsides to creating such a list? Could be used as a wolf hit list? A wolf could sneak in there and escape some peoples FFAs owed to their presence on the list?
