Samsung A5 2017 or A8 2018

19-06-2018 11:05AM#1My current Samsung is S4 mini since 2013, longest time i owed a phone very happy that it survived this long.
It has been for a while starting to drain battery fast especially on wifi, charge slow-ish and crash randomly and dies instantly every time i attempt to take picture with flash.
Is it fixable? tips welcome to improve battery life, stop the crashes and the flash deaths?
Or time for an upgrade which would ye go for? A5 or A8.
I prefer the price of A5 €319 as similar to S4 when i bought it €350 approx.
A8 this year model €480 is it better value overall?
Hopefully it keeps for five years too.
