Some things just make us stop and pause and think - "it's great to be alive", what day to day or week to week events make you fuzzy inside?

    For me:
    1) Putting a hot pan into the sink, hearing that hiss and for a second imagining yourself as a blacksmith.

    2) Watching the birds. Have a load of feeders out the back and it's so therapeutic. Went to the park the other day and laughed my head off at two coots fighting each other.

    3) Sitting above the driver on the top deck of the bus and pretending I'm driving it.

    4) Cup of tea and a Twix after dinner.

    5) Swimming in the sea

To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of their women.

A decent cup of coffee and a croissant (together preferably but either one just as gooooood)
    Toast with butter.
    Fresh bed sheets.
Hearing a deadly song in the car.

Oh, and that nice feeling a Saturday shopping in town and going for lunch gives you during the day. Or is that just me.

Making a lovely dinner while listening to good music. Then sitting down to enjoy said dinner while watching something good on TV (for example the World Cup).

A nice cup of tea with chocolate cake/biscuit/bar/ice cream.

Getting a notification that a new episode of a favourite podcast has been uploaded for listening.

I know you're on holidays and everything, but you shouldn't really be giving alcohol to children.

    that blacksmith one. lol.

Ivan, bring hither yonder heated iron to water. We shall form it, for we are 16th century blacksmiths I say.

Do you give it an aul clonk with the wooden spoon, to give that full viking foundry house effect?

When a guy you've just started seeing, starts firing you messages of an evening, randomly reminding you of all the hot sex ye had on the weekend, but really because he knows you are out on the town and thusly intending to distract you from checking out/snogging some other fella! :D

At the age of 44 :)

Which leads to another one, namely, once home, doing a little impromptu victory dance to the tune of "I've still got it, yeah yeah yeah" in front of the mirror :pac:

I live near an airport. Right now, sitting on the balcony, absolute total silence. Can't even hear a bird.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.
