New job offer, oops driving licence renewal

I was meant to get my driving license renewed a few weeks ago. I booked the appointment and it was a few weeks in the future and I forgot about it. I’ve been offered a promotion in work that involves a vehicle I’ve just realized I never went and renewed my license that time. What’s the quickest way to sort this.

If there's no appointment available within the next couple days at any centres near you, just get yourself to the nearest one first thing in the morning for a walk-in. Make sure you have all the required documents ready to go, and bring something to read as it could be a long wait. It'll still take the usual week or two to receive your new license via the post, though, there's no rushing that.
