Battery size.

Our Mondeo battery seems to have died, wife needs it for morning and since it’s on original battery at 8yo I think I’ll pick up a battery today in Halfords for it.

I presume all 80Ah batteries will be same size as I don’t have the car with me ??

Batteries are actually different sizes, but if you tell them what car it's for they should give you the right one

Halfords have a touchscreen in the battery section where you can input your car details and it will show you what batteries are suitable for it

They have a selector on their website too so you can check before you go in ...

Got it sorted.
€144, not cheap but to have it sorted on a Sunday is great.

I stuck it in when back home which was a tight fit but not too hard.

Thats not a very bad price for the battery
The girlfriend had a 08 focus and the battery went . 110 in the motor factors.
Her focus had a low height battery which was specific for the fords/focus so was dearer.
Yours might have been the same
