De Gea probably regrets hanging out with Karius after that howler; good to see his one mistake of 2018 made in Russia!

He made a big mistake a couple of weeks back too.

You'd want to be careful with those micro aggressions fella, alot of sensitive souls around these parts.

Go Cristiano! Want you to get a world cup.

If that happens would that be the tipping point in the arguement of messi or ronaldo?

Well Ramos is on the pitch too.....

Poor from Cristiano there. He stood still in the build-up, didn't bother trying to win the ball back.

Shave a bit off that contract offer, I reckon.

You would wonder why DDG always looks so much worse for Spain than for us.

He appealed twice to the linesman for offside, the second time just before the ball was struck, he should have been concentrating on the ball more I thought

In a constant state of high alert with Jones and Smalling in front of him.

Dozes off with Pique and Ramos.

If that's the case let's bring back McShane and Silvestre

Its like watching one of my children murder another :(

Would love Ronaldo back. Don't care about his age.

He isn't coming back Lord Tesco.

That was some game of football to be fair.

33 years of age and still performing like that.

    Fabulous. Just fabulous.

He's truly a f&$+in legend. Yet again dragged that team , look at the way his teammates reacted to him after the final whistle. Looking at him like a God

Heard beglin saying during the game ' you would have to be a tough coach to tell ronaldo no at 37 for the next world cup'
Why would you tell him. Absolute beast of a player, the flick ons were class and even with all the pressure to finish with that 3rd after what people would call a 'soft' 2 goals before it. Unreal.

Costa's goal was sublime along with Nacho's.

Lets hope the other big lads were watching tonight, looking at you Werner and Lukaku for my TS of the competiton.

Speaking off lads, who you reckon will be TS, i know theres a thread for it, but wouldnt mind hearing utd fans perspective of it.

I was originally going with Neymar or Lukaku but after today wouldn't be surprised to see Ronaldo come out the group alone with 6 or 7.

I have few euro on Lukaku though.

Well Ronnie has 3 already with Morocco and Iran next so he could be well ahead by the 2nd round

Tonight reminds me of how much of a bargain Madrid got for Ronaldo.... he’s worth twice Neymar!!!

Looked like he picked up a knock to the ankle towards the end so wouldn’t be surprised to see him rested for next match

It's a nice sentiment but not one Jose has the luxury to indulge next season

He NEEDS a proper title push next season and so we can't afford to take the risk, again, of players coming good. That's the sort of luxury you can afford if you are content with top four or content with developing kids, but next season is all about winning a trophy for Jose and the club now.

So at that point, like or not, the priority has to been players most likely to produce the goods, not players we hope will finally come good :/

I said as much and more Lordy when I was more present a few weeks back.
I'm just expressing a bit of disappointment that Martial isn't willing to stay and fight for a place.

We need proven quality in the team, but we also need good squad players. I thought Martial (and Rashford) showed great squad form in the first half of last season. The half when we were keeping up with the league leaders and putting in a bit of a title challenge.

Typical Madrid the last thing in transfer dealings is the agreement between the clubs.
