Hi, I'm about to replace the tires on my Honda Civic and looking for recommendtions. I'm not looking for the cheapest (nor the most expensive) but a good decent set of tires. There's loads to look at so any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Look at the noise rating. Makes a huge difference on Civics.

Just looking at tyres for my hatch, quotes I got in Limerick were €70 for Firestone and €75 for Bridgestone Turanza. 205/55/16.

Had Michelin energy’s before and found them great. Got them for €80 but they were on offer. That was around 2016 though.

I have Bridgestone Turanzas on my Civic. Can be got at a good price in 205/55/16 and they seem to perform well on the car. I'm on my second set on it now.

Vredestein are a great upper mid range tyre. Good wet weather grip.

+1 on these. If you can get Vredestein Sportrac 5 in your size then you're laughing as they're usually pretty reasonably priced on Oponeo.

Vredestein ultrac satin should give you a good balance of grip and wear.

Uniroyal rainsport 3 offer amazing grip for the price however they wear a bit quickly.

I have the Ultrac Satin on my car and I'm very impressed by them.

Another vote for Turanzas, lovely tyre

Same here. I have been using them for a number of years on an Accord.

I'm in the same boat. Have them on the rear of an e46 bmw and I've 2 more waiting for the front.

Likewise I've found them very good. its a bit early for me to tell how they're wearing but I'm expecting them to last better than the uniroyal rainsport 3's and avon zv5's they've replaced.
