Read yesterday that augsberg defender phillip max's agent is pretty much sending out a come get me to united.. I've heard of him but no nothing about him... Any good?

Quite a good player. Very good going forward and is a great crosser and set piece taker. Had a stupid amount of assists for a defender last year.

    Maddest rumour so far.

Daily Star: Jose is planning a shock swap move for mBappe from PSG.

I don't think that's too far fetched tho is it? If psg are under ffp pressure it may not be that crazy.

Can he play full back? :)

Seriously though, Martial to PSG as part of any deal?

Is mbappe even owned by psg yet? Thought he was just on a loan with option to buy. If so what a stupid headline

He was on loan with an agreement to buy basically they had to buy him this summer I thought.

They have an obligation to buy

    Sanchez-Lukaku - Mbappe

    Not a bad forward line

The obligation was activated earlier in the year.

I'd say I've as much a chance of leading the front line for United as Mbappe has boys.

    Not a prayer.

Rumours of Madrid going for Savic at 132million.

    Could be interesting knock ons.

Have read that in January Madrid were letting it know that Bale and Kross, amongst others, would be available at the right price.

Savic could be funded by selling Bale, but could also be somewhat offset if they sold Kroos. I could see United being interested in signing either or both of these Madrid players - and I think it would be an easier fit for Kroos to be added to the current United midfield set than Savic (unless Pogba is sold).

My assumption would be that if Mbappe is sold, he will end up at either Madrid or City - can't see another landing point for him.

I'd also be surprised if PSG were willing to sell the next big French superstar, he should be one of their biggest faces, a symbol of their club. Even with regards FFP, I'd be surprised if they couldn't sell of Cavani, Di Maria or a couple of others to offset enough.

"Understand Toby Alderweireld is not the top target on United's eight-man centre-back shortlist. Scouts have reservations about his 'profile' "

I wonder if his profile is that he's 29 and Spurs want too much.

I'd imagine it's frustration with spurs that they are leaking this to either get spurs to renege or Alderweireld to apply pressure.

8 man shortlist? Thats a lot of potential transfer targets. Very interesting. Wonder where he lands on that list.

Varane seems a deal we will constantly be linked with, and never happen.
Skriniar has been making noises about intending to stay at Inter for the long haul.
Koulibaly would be HUGE money, based on last summer's talk.
Boateng was bit of a flop at City, but is better/more experienced now and has been talking up potentially leaving (and coming back to England).

I'd still reckon we'll sign Alderweireld eventually,. Alex Sandro seems to be a non runner and recent talk keeps bringing up phillip max who would be a cheaper younger option. The more I read up on him he seems to be a serious attacking option which would assist our formation. Only Thomas Miller had more assists last year apparently

Can't stand levy and I don't agree with the fee either but can see it being a Van Dijk situation and United saying **** it. Not sure who else United can sign to slip into that position with ease

Just can’t see this being true. Although we need both fullback places upgraded, left back seemed the obvious one.

Shaw has more or less been frozen out so I’ll be amazed if he survives the summer.

If we don’t sign a LB this window I’ll be disgusted.

I said before liverpool signed him i thought he was one of the best defenders in the league. He is only 26 as well. I think utd will move on quickly from alderweild

Speaking of defenders, was out with chris smalling a few days ago. He was in good spirits despite not going to world cup
