I was very surprised to notice how Amsterdam is haead, compering to the rest. It`s a nice city, allright, but nothing compared to Rome or Prague. Personally I have visited all cities mentioned in the pull and no one beates Rome. The history, the clima, the food, the wine, the people, the bars, the shops, the language, the soccer, :) what else ?
But I guess after few smokes or magic mashrooms also Amsterdam can offer as much as Rome does. But seriouslly, why Amsterdam ?

id imagine the open attitude to drugs would be pretty high amongst the reasons.

Liverpool, damn it i love that city. Once met an 85 year old man at John Lennon airport and he took us around the city on his bus pass, showing us all the sites. It really is a beautiful city, and the people are the frendliest I've ever met. They could probably teach Dublin a thing or two.

I started the poll and although I am Italian myself I voted for Amsterdam (along with Stockholm and Barcelona) rather than Rome....

I believe the reason why so many people prefer Amsterdam rather than cities like Rome for is because Amsterdam offers things (we all know of what sort) that no other city in Europe offers, whereas if you are fond of art, food, soccer, etc. you can find it in Rome as well as in many other of the cities listed in the poll..... so the cake has to be shared...

Munich takes my vote. It has what Amsterdam offers but also - fabulous buildings, transport, standard of living, wealth, weather, Beer Fest etc.
    German women rule as well.
