Changing Masters Course from Part-Time to Full-Time?

    Hi guys,

I have applied (and been accepted) to study a masters part time in UCD. However, it was only when applying for SUSI that I realised I would not get any grant because though my income was under the required amount, part time courses are not given assistance.

I was then thinking of changing my course from Part Time to Full Time and I was wondering if anyone else has had experience doing this, or might be able to tell me if it is possible?

I have tried contacting the admin person in charge of the masters course I am doing, but it has been a week and she has not responded. In general she is difficult to get through to, which can be frustrating, so I thought I would ask here.

    Thanks!

Obviously it will depend on the programme, but I know a few people who have changed from part to full time (and vice versa) mid-way through the course. So I'd say talk to the school/programme you're applying for and get their advice.
