Yeah my father George V's aunt was the Kaiser's mother. That's not where he German-ness of the royal family came from. They used to be the german House Of Hanover. Then Queen Victoria married Albert of Saxe Coburg, thus the house became Saxe Coburg Gotha. They changed it to Windsor in the war because it sounded to German. They should've kept it that way imo
