Is there a decent alarm app for recurring events?

I have recurring alarms for weekly events but I have to change the times and labels often.I'm not finding the Oreo alarm app very convenient for it.

It's not an alarm app but wunderlist should work for something like that.
Set up some recurring items and you'll get a notification, mark as completed and it goes away until the next time it's set to go.
One downside is when you swipe it away instead of using the tick box, it won't alarm again until you tick it. You can set up a widget on the home screen with quick access to click on an item to change the alarm time or tick one you swiped away by accident.

Just saw an XDA video recommending one.
It's a sponsored ad, so may not be the most biased recommendation.
    Anyway, thought I'd share :)

Is there any alarm app that knows not to wake me up for work on a Bank Holiday Monday morning?

Is there any alarm app that knows not to wake me up for work on a Bank Holiday Monday morning?

I think this one might allow you to import bank holidays for your Country
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid

    http://amdroidapp.com/
    Let you sleep on off-days

Ever been roused from a good, deep sleep on a public holiday, just because the alarm clock wasn't turned off? AMdroid knows the public holidays for your country; alarms won’t go off on these days (optional).
An alarm clock with unlimited, fully customizable alarm profiles

Recurring alarms - on top of the basic settings, you can use advanced recurrence, such as daily or weekly repeats, intervals, set expiration, etc. (ideal for shift workers working in cycles)
One-time alarms - set any date
Countdown alarms - perfect for an afternoon siesta or zizz

I've always wanted an alarm clock that understood bank holidays :)

Beautiful - bank holidays AND location-specific alarms, which is something else I've been looking for for a while now. Many thanks.

Personally I purposely leave the alarm on when it's a bank holiday, just so I can turn the fcuker off again.

I just don't set mine before I go to bed if it's a bank holiday the next day.

It's set to go every day, Monday to Friday. I don't have time to be fiddling around setting it every night.

I'm using Edge as my main browser (switched from Chrome about 2 months ago - Edge is great!)
    Google Inbox for email.
Google Keyboard (Gboard) has been my keyboard for well over a year now.

    Pocketcasts for Podcasts
    Audible and Borrowbox for Audiobooks

    TickTick for reminders (monthly subscription)
    SolCalendar for Calendar.

    They're probably my main apps...

Apart from what you have there I'd use TuneIn for radio, sky sports news/score centre, skygo, met eirean, YR, rte news and kindle.

3 other apps I'd use quite regularly would be call recorder, flash scores for the golf and fotmob for football scores.

Forza Footballl is great for following football (soccer). You can set your favourite team and it sends notifications, and the best part is it gives you videos of the goals within minutes of it happening.

Dream epg and dream player are great apps if you have an enigma2 receiver. L9Droid is very good if you like old school text adventures.

As wekk as the other IPV apps mentioned, IPTV Smarters is a great app.
Stable. Mobile version and a Smart TV/Box version although both will work on either.

31 temporarily free and 41 on-sale apps and games to start off the week

Top 5 most popular Android apps from last week: BOMBARIKA, Dank

Posting these again, even if there are not wanted?.
(Mon/Wed/Fri) people could check the site themselves.

I was going to respond to a post where I was mentioned, but looks like the thread was cleaned up. I have tried to include additional links as well, to fill out the post, so it is not just app sales.
