Why did Jonny not acknowledge Eva when he was talking to Toyah?

I suppose he's on a mission to find out what Aidan's movements were. She probably didn't even register with him, like he couldn't see how hurtful he had been to Jenny earlier too.

Poor Jenny. I'm liking her more and more.

Do we reckon Eva is going to spill the beans or do you think Toyah and Peter will get to raise baby Susie?
I don't think Eva will be able to keep schtum myself.

On a side note and on a totally unrelated topic, what is the point of Dev?
We don't see him very often but when we do he's either sweeping outside the shop or being a dramatic over-actor in the Rovers.

I think Eva will eventually crack, it's building up to that, I think.

As for Dev, he's a pointless character altogether.

She's bonding with the baby, or has already bonded and will want her back. Toyah has copped this and wants her to have less and less to do with the baby (not pushing the pram for example).

It will all come spilling out i think, though it would be better if they left it for a few years, the viewers know, but nobody in Corrie does. It's so dumb. They have Eva's name on the birth cert. It's not something that you can hide for the lifetime of the child.

Among the serious tone of tonight's episodes, I'll admit I let out a small laugh when Ken burst into the living room like Kramer from Seinfeld.

Appropriate enough for this week of the show, I'm doing Darkness Into Light in a few hours. Anyone else?

I though the theme was suggesting he slashed wrists in bathtub. People do that to contain the blood, one last thoughtful thing to do for who even found them.

There was no blood on Johnny’s clothes though!

How can Daniel take Flora (a non relative) from her care home?

Do they really have Eva's name on the birth certificate, I thought she passed herself off as Toyah?

The reactions of the suicide "why didn't I see it," ... It doesn't work like that... No on should blame themselves.

I think the truth about the baby will come out sooner rather than later. Then Toyah and Eva will be blamed for causing Aidan's suicide. Peter will be devastated - might go back on the drink. The whole street will be in uproar at the two sisters. Just my prediction!

Tonight’s episode was woeful - the only part I enjoyed was Johnny telling Kate to shut up - nd then he ruined it by hugging her - I felt soooooo bad for Jenny but I don’t think it took her long to learn her lines for tonight’s episodes!! I swear to GOD I wanna punch Alya & Maria in the effin throat!

I actually think Evas character is the one smashing it with the Aidan storyline.
Her grief scenes were so real.
She gets so much stick for being a fickle character but I have to give her the most credit in this story.
Maria and Jenny's reactions were woeful. P*ss poor acting.
Johnny was amazing as a distraught father, you could really feel his pain.

If they are wrapping up the Pat story this month, I think it's too soon after such a serious storyline like the Aidan one.

    Well
They've filmed what appeared to be the climax a few weeks ago now. It will probably be a mix of this and Michelle's wedding and Michelle is rumored to get shot.

I can't wait for him to come back! I hope he takes them all out Arnie style. That storyline with Vinnies Mum, Adam and Daniel is car crash viewing.

Personally I think that every actor did their part in making this week's viewing absolutely brilliant. It was extremely well directed and produced. My favourite scene was Gail speaking and the way the camera featured the different characters expressions. Will easily win best soap awards title this year.

Can't stand Gail's poignant schtick...she wheels it out every now and then. She's a horrible character...what's more she is too Jim Henson-esque to every be taken seriously by me 206d84f7-1743-4448-956b-9f2c071fa0ec.jpg?w=970&h=582&fit=crop&crop=faces&auto=format&q=70

Johhny was great though...i think he will struggle now that he is surrounded by all those mad Connor women with no other man for support!

I hope Johnny doesn’t start blaming Jenny, it seemed to be heading that way yesterday when he was like I was so wrapped up in this Spain stuff.
