Jesus that was powerful stuff. Few tears were shed. Poor Aidan and Eva.

I was in tears watching that. Way too real, sometimes it’s easier watching the serial killers! Well done to Shayne ward, don’t think it would have been as touching if it wasn’t someone so likeable.

I think what happening to Aidan is very true to life, you can be suffering unbearable pain and in a deep depression and even those close to you don’t even notice.

So sorry for Aidan..... Eva should have told him the truth.

    But he knows, doesn't he?

He knows. He was telling Eva it was the right thing to do?

I deliberately didn't watch tonight because I knew it would be very charged.
Does Aidan know that the baby is his?
I had hoped somehow this information would change things for him.

Does he? I thought him saying I’ll kerp the secret was her being in the cottage and not in America. Eva told him Adam Barlow was the father.

It;s obvious that Aidan has guessed the truth

I think he knows. The penny dropped when Toyah wouldn't let him hold the baby in the pub. That's why he looked in her bag and found out where Eva was. I was a bit confused though when he asked Eva how the baby was.

He knows well, he would have to be thick to not see how weird Toyah has been.

I think he said the imaginary baby was better off without him. Don’t think Eva knows he knows about the real baby.

It was an ambiguous question - could have meant an unborn as well as a newborn.

I still believe he doesnt know. Wouldn’t knowing he has a daughter now, make him reconsider just like when Carla needed a kidney.

I shed quite a few tears tonight. Very well acted scenes. Very touching scenes between Alden and Eva.

The scene in the Rovers where everyone was talking around him and he was so clearly lost in his own mind rings true for me only a few months ago. Well portrayed and well played,

poor aidan - so next episode on wednesday i suppose someone will find him dead , leaving it up to the viewer to piece it up that he carried out suicide and how he carried it out

I know the message that everyone says is talk but a lot of the time even when you do try and talk people don’t want to know or they brush it off as you complaining or being ungrateful so what are you supposed to do????

People can be so insensitive nowadays.

Yeah, I don't believe he knows. Its one thing to learn "off screen" the location of Eva, its a whole other thing to discover Toyah's new daughter is actually the daughter of yours and the woman you love.

Tonights episode was very well acted, but parts of it were very poorly written. That might be an unpopular opinion, but that's how I see it. It should have all been about Aidan and Eva and then Aidans despair. Instead we had filler from Moira and Ali, and Craig and Bethany, and various others and so it felt rushed.

I thought Aidan may have seen a picture of Eva and the baby that was taken at the hospital by the photographer guy and realised Toyahs baby was his

The guilt will eat away at Eva and Toyah if they keep quite about Aidan's baby

I think they wanted to keep it real. When one person is in Aidan's situation. Everybody else just continues as normal.

If he did not know, then what did he mean when he told Toyah her secret was safe

Maybe in his suicide note, he will say so it will be clear if he knew or not
