Roaming add on for America

    Currently with Eir and heading US for 3 weeks at end of the month. Enquired about data add on and was told there's no add on package for US available. Checked with 3 and Vodafone aswell and they don't seem to have any decent offers available either. 200mb for 5euro a day I think with Vodafone which is steep for what it is.
    Don't think be worth my while buying a sim over there as be on carribean cruise for week and in Mexico for 8 days then.

    Eir has 200MB for €20 for 30 days in USA.
    Calls are in excess of €1.50 both to make and take.

    Vodafone is €2.99 per day in USA for 1000 mins, 1000 texts and 200MB.
    Same deal is €4.99 per day in Mexico.
    Charged only on days you actually use the phone for voice, SMS or data.

    Forget using it on a cruise ship while at sea though. Horrendously expensive.

    If it's pure data you want this 12GB SIM for £28 might suit. it's valid for a year for use in Australia. Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Macau, New Zealand, Norway, Republic Of Ireland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, USA.
