    Very poor form.

Poor indeed, The GAA Hour podcast this week looks at the shambles that is u17 and u20 setup. I only listened to snippets of it but it seems a complete mess.

But at the same time, also poor form from the Leitrim Manager to be going on some "reported" remark by Mayo Management.

It's a Connacht Council issue really and as he said himself, maybe he should have dug his heels in before... rather than slinging mud after.

Leitrim had sought a postponement of the game on the grounds that five Leitrim players would miss the game as they were travelling to New York with their families to support the County Senior team against New York next Sunday.

Are you and they having a laugh??

I’m not so sure really. Leitrim Players passing up the chance to play for their county minor team in order to travel to watch their senior team play in NY, and Mayo GAA are the bad guys?
The next game vs Roscommon would have to be moved too to accommodate, so it wouldn’t just be one county having to make accommodations.

I don't see the issue here. If it was exams or something preventing them going to the match fair enough. But a holiday to New York? I think they were right not to move the fixture.

And there was I, told a few pages back on this thread that Connacht teams were a bit more neighbourly. 😉

Fair enough just thought there might have been room for some flexibility in the date given the fact Leitrim had seeked same as far back as January.

Does anyone have a list of scorers for the junior match last night? Can’t find any detailed info on it.

Grim viewing, that Dublin team looks even less beatable than their male equivalent.

A truly exceptional performance.Ruthless in taking their chances.

Valiant effort by the Mayo ladies

Anyone know if next year is Mayo's year in Newyork?

Yes, based on the rotation its Mayo next, then Galway, Roscommon, Sligo, Letrim.

But they should bin the NY game as a championship fixture if you ask me.
