    Hi,

I'd like to know if anyone with a Computer Science with a language (French/Spanish/German) from Trinity College has qualified to do a Professional Masters of Education for teaching in Secondary school?
Is there enough foreign language modules in this course to be eligible to teach that language in secondary school?

    Many Thanks

    Fran

Check the teaching council's list of approved degrees. Keep in mind thought that for a language to be recognised, you need to have studied a certain amount of literature modules, and they're fairly specific about what counts as a literature module. I know some joint language degrees that have a non-arts subject as the main subject have trouble fulfilling this. But if it's a equal split in credits, and the French part of the degree is the same as the BA students, then you should be okay.
