This is tame compared to his Dara Quilty obsession and other posts in the radio forum

Dara Quilty would break North Korea tbh.

That would be nice, I agree. But I think she should give the US a try

Cat Deeley sort of broke America, so there's hope for middling presenters everywhere.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

What do you guys think is more likely for her - a move to America or a move back to Ireland?

You never know. I mean even if Americans might not know who she is it doesn't mean she can't break America.

Wasn't that the case with James Corden?

    This thread is creepy.

Sorry if you find it that way, it's just asking people their opinion.

Hey Mikey Mike. A boards search of "whitmore" reveals your name attached to 90% of the thread titles or mentions of her in the last few weeks/months. Are you having some sort of breakdown?

No, I'm just hoping an American network offers her a job.

Why's that exactly? Is she a family friend?

The closest I've ever gotten to meeting her was maybe one of the 2FM DJs. :-)

It's not. It's you bumping this thread every two or three days commenting on posts that don't need commenting on.

What has the guy who tried to kill Reagan got to do with this?

This was just posted in a thread about predictions for 2018.
Laura Whitmore leaves the UK for America.

I hope for her sake she goes to Outer Mongolia and gets off the grid.

Very true. Mikey Mike gives me a good laugh to be fair, but there is no doubt the thought he has given to this persons career is fairly farcical. I've seen the question posed in the title about 50 times from him over the last 6 months.

Mike, Whitmore is not particularly good looking, charismatic, funny, or skilled on screen. She doesn't seem all that likable or popular to the masses either. She got her original break out of being an overly confident blond "sort" who was probably at the peak of her physical appearance.

Most of her work in recent years has been as very much a secondary presenter or worse and in fairly low viewership programs.

Her chances of breaking America are slim to none, albeit much like they are for most people looking to break into the market. I'm sure hers are lower than most though. Even the much maligned casting couch route has closed as an option.

He stalked Jodie Foster for years... He was obsessed with her movements. Was always asking people via fax machines if they thought she'd break various countries.

Tis quite the strange one alright. If I mentioned I knew her personally would The Mikester lose his life entirely?

Would it help if I said she's nice enough but a bit bland and slightly affected and most likely entirely forgettable in an already saturated US market full of blonde presenters, or are you just all in on this Whitmore-obsessed train to psychiatric evaluation regardless?

I think that might actually be the case.
Going to start a petition to give Laura Whitmore the lunchtime show. Anyone want to help me sign it?

It's very obsessive to the point it's a bit uncomfortable.

If that is your opinion then so be it.

I actually had a dream last night. Operation Transformation got picked up by one of the big American channels and Laura was presenting it. Great dream I must say.
