Ha! We shall have to agree to disagree.... :)

Not satisfactory. There should be pages of back and forth with bolded parts criticizing each other's subjective opinion, followed by ad hominem attacks, followed by bans. There's an etiquette on the internet y'know :pac:

Finished Lost in Space myself last night, yes it was very clunky dialogue in parts and I thought it was over reliant on the device of creating suspense through a difficult situation that suddenly arises which is resolved at the last second etc.

Overall tho, it was decently cast (Dr Smith was tricky one to write and they did seem to get in tangles at times with her but I thought Posey's performance just about kept it together) Was very well shot and despite having the prequel feel someone else mentioned, it moved along enough to keep me watching. Sometimes I prefer a lightweight but slick show when I flop down in the evenings, and this ticked that box for me.

Watched all of Happy yesterday, wasn't expecting it to be that good and it got better with each episode. Well recommended.

I'm going to start watching this tonight, big fan of Christopher Meloni.

The only way i can explain it is like Pixar meets Evil dead.

Watched a couple of episodes of The Frozen Dead. Not bad so far, but Jebus they overuse the moody, ominous tension music. The trailer for that shows why dubbing really is seldom a good idea, cast of Scooby do were hired to voice it I think.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Served him a pint years ago in Dublin, think he was in a play at the time

Just wondering did anyone get to watch the Avicii documentary before it was removed? Was it available on the Irish one.

    The Rachel divide.

Thought it was odd as be jaysus when it happened a couple of years ago.

Felt different for her at the end.

Watched it last night and had zero sympathy for her tbh. Fascinating doc though.

Watched American Gangster for the first time last night, incredible film.

I bet the soundtrack makes one cracking album.

Brilliant film. There was a documentary on Netflix about drug lords and one episode was about Frank Lucus, might want to check it out if you liked the film.

    Ya it’s called Drug lords.

I've been loving money heist so far, however in the last episode of season one and first two of season two, Tokyo has been annoying me. She's like an overacted batman villain. There was always a touch of it about her but it is at the point where I'm not enjoying scenes at all now. Hopefully it'll improve from here.

I watched first episode with my wife and I loved the premise but couldn’t get into it. I really want to like it. It gets better you say?

I watched the first episode yesterday on a bus journey and it definitely left me wanting to watch more.

Made it through half the first episode before passing out. I really liked the idea of this but I'm not sure of the execution of it. Plenty of other things on my watch list so I'm going to leave it for a bit.

I was actually wondering this also..... I can’t find any information if it was previously on Irish Netflix either.... although I think it is streaming on UK Netflix?

I do recall seeing it on my Netflix. I'd watch a fair few music documentaries so it used to pop up as a recommendation for me - I thought his music was pure muck so I never had an interest in watching it. Mind you, in the wake of his death, I wouldn't have minded a gander at it in a rubber-necking sort of way. Did he commit suicide?

    The Hitman's Bodyguard
A grand popcorn flick with action, fighting, shooting, driving, comedy and a small role by Salma Hayek.
It's not bad, not great, but not bad. Very watchable.

I stopped watching that after about 20min, it was just too cringey for me.
    The humour was overdone.

I watched this but it gave me cinematic Alzheimer's. I can't recall anything about it beyond a general sense that it was complete scutter.

It's no cinematic masterpiece, but a bit of action and fun. I wouldn't be watching it for sharp dialogue or a well flushed out story. :p

Brilliant spelling error. It was indeed the celluloid equivalent of one of those heavy poos that one of your co-workers do that sits at the bottom of the bowl and takes at least ten-fifteen flushes to get rid of, all the while infusing the water like a fecal tea bag.

Superstition, anyone watch it? I've heard good things about it, audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is at 82%, but IMDB, which I ordinarily don't take notice of, is down at 5.3/10.
