Stufur, seeing he is now persona non grata, tries to reason with them.

"I lost my mind there for a moment, I am fine now, please we are all in this together!"

Brutha shouts out "Please, no violence, these creatures are trying to reason with us!"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,342 ✭✭✭Guffy

Hearing Brutha's shouts for reason Echtrae regrets the danger he has put himself in immediately but is frozen by fear. To much has happened and he is afraid for his life if Sandor doesn't ignite. Also those jewels are rather nice

'Fine words from someone who just attacked a teammate! How can you guarantee that you can control yourself? We should just leave you here to rot with your new king'.

"Wait!!!! Everyone, please wait!" Webby jumps in front of Stufur waving his hands frantically.

"We are limiting our chance of survival by quite a bit, if we just start killing team members at the first opportunity!" he proceeds to explain. "We should aim to punish those who put us here, not those who were put here in stead".

Webby looks at the arrow in his hand, eye goop still dripping off and turns red. "If only a single action is what defines us then I deserve the same fate as him" he says as he points towards Stufur with the goopy arrow in his hand.

'Were you also bitten and changed by the vampire king? How can you expect us to ever trust him? He is already dead. Allow me to finish the job.'

OOC : A quick note before you all proceed with your actions - Lighting a torch takes a combat round. If you wish to light a torch and then attack, you light the torch, let everyone else take their go, then attack on your next round according to init.

Stu Pendous - if you intend to attack, let's all go roll for Init in the Meatgrinder . You can all still go for dialog over action if you want, but since some of you seem to have your hearts set on violent ends, I don't want to be seen to stand in your way!

Webby looks at Meera "You saw what happened, Stufur launched at me, after I begged for him to return... I got what I asked for and then some...".

Webby points and Sandor and then back at Stufur.

"Do they seem like a danger to you? The king who sulks in the corner, begging for release and the companion that tries to reason with everyone taking aim at him and even firing?".

He shrugs at Meera and proceeds to explain "There is no danger at the moment, would it not be fair to at least hear those out who have proven themselves worthy?".

'Please yourselves, I'll not stay to witness your foolishness'.

Meera turns and walks away. She heads back to the main entrance and follows the corridor to the south.

Stu stops short on his attack on Stufur after hearing pleas from some in the party. He retreats slightly and shouts "okay, let hear it"

They continue down the corridor softly arguing the best strategy as to who should take the lead.

    Aesc and Lalwende:

They turn south. Lalwende can make out the end of the passage up ahead. It appears to be a dead end.

Meera finds an open door on the east wall at the bottom of the corridor.

"Okay Asec, this is a dead end. Where do fancy going now? What do you fancy doing? I think I saw a bedroom earlier..."

"Tis strange to create a passage to nowhere. Lets take a closer look."
Move down the passage towards the dead end looking for ... stuff and things.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    Meera:

Meera finds an open door on the east wall at the bottom of the corridor.

[OOC: Is it dark/light inside the doorway?]
Meera checks the doorway for traps

    Stufur looks relieved.

"Thank you Halfling. That was close!"

She can make out the room is quite well lit from the doorway.

No traps she can make out

Lalwende steps forward until her face is three inched for Aesc's. She stares deeply into his eyes. "Okay, Aesc. By the sounds of things, the others have a battle on their hands. I think we should leave them at it. All of this exploring and battling has got me quite flustered. I'm happy to find a quiet corner somewhere where we can pass an hour or two pleasantly. Or maybe you aren't man enough and would like to do something else?"

With her ears pricked for noises, and another arrow nocked in her bow, she steps into the room and looks around.

Webby nods approvingly at Stufur turns to Brutha in the doorway and waves excitedly "I am glad to see you guys!"...

Webby makes his way towards the door and asks Brutha "I've lost a small spring in my step" and points towards his leg "Any chance you have some feel good juju to put the spring back in?".

As Meera looks around the room, she notices it is quite large.

A set of demonic war masks hangs on the East wall.

Someone has scrawled runes upon the North wall.

A fountain lies in the middle of the room, and pools of a silver liquid run from it into a seperate small pool, some of the liquid has spilled on the floor and seemingly solidified.

An archway lies to the South, and a door to the South-East.

A little confused as to whats happening, Echtra turns to the cleric,

"Brutha, can you try to detect evil?"

[OOC: I know this has been covered already by the other guys but for the sake of properness, this is new to Meera]

Meera tries to read the runes and moves to inspect the masks on the east wall. She looks at the back to see if they're removable.

Brutha turns to Webby and Echtra... "I'm afraid Echtra that I don't have that power today, I ask the Great God Om to grant me the power of healing instead. Webby, yes, I will gladly heal you".

OOC: I'm not sure what I have to do to use the Cure Light Wounds spell? And am I right in thinking that I can only use it once? I'm looking at the condition Stufur is in as well (though I suppose technically he's also dead! :)

    OOC: Int Check for runes.

The mask looks like it comes off the wall easily enough. Meera gets a sense of power from the mask.

OOC: Clarification, it's one mask, not multiple, apologies for confusion

"Great God Om, I am your humble servant! Please grace your healing power on this poor soul", cries Brutha as he lays his hands on Webby and casts the Cure Light Wounds spell.
