The Limerick guy alone had had 44 previous convictions prior to the planned robbery spree. And some wonder how these travellers are viewed a menace to the old and vulnerable in rural areas. They didn't give a shyte what damage they did or who they hurt. Glad to see their sentence increased.

I have returned from isolation of farming to discuss farming matters. Since I left this forum has changed utterly. My comrades have left or returned under new names. I have watched this forum grow from it’s foundation and aided the process of its success. I call upon the members of old to continue making this forum a place for acquiring knowledge and discussing farming life. I call upon new members to uphold the principles of old and join us in this most successful forum. Thanking you and wishing you all a enjoyable experience.

    Welcome back.

Maybe for the convenience of all, we should start a register of previous and current aliases....

    :P

I would be biased but for serious and in-depth discussion of farming issues, a forum like this is better than Facebook types where sound bites reign. Horses for courses.

After the last few days here I might join you in that. Cows broke into next paddock just as I was going to get them this morning. Wanted to be finished early as one of the kids has an appointment

Yeah the fun is running out of it now. I'm lucky as the cattle here are only a sideshow to the machinery but they started poaching ground on me went I took my eye off the ball in a short period of time. Heart goes out to anyone with a large amount of animals. Nearly may now

One of my friends died yesterday, 52.
I met and spoke with him on Sunday and he said not to worry about him that he was ready and it was the right time for him.

Was that going private, what world do they live in, they could have ten patients for the one time slot.
OH had to go to santry sports clinic yesterday, in and out in half an hour.
Even OH, a former PS herself won't tolerate HSE now

It's the same in any hospital now with waiting times. Very rare you'll just walk in and out on time

Galway Clinic , fantastic service and all staff just get on with their work.

rang 1 evening at 5 pm , consultant rang me at 11.30 that night, and met him at 7.30 am following morning , all tests done and dusted by & out the door by 12 noon ,

would have been waiting at least 3 weeks with hse

Young lad had an appointment in social welfare office at ten. We were there at 9.55. Called at 10.20 first appointment of the day twenty minutes late.
