Land I put out Lime on last year is showing a nice green lushness that I haven't seen in the fields in years.
    Old pasture or reseed ?

That's my dolerite mixed in to the soil and diluted seawater sprayed during the winter project.

Still have to mind it from getting poached.
It looks so far like it could be my best reseed yet.

My perfect idea of a reseed would be dung spread on the sod then biochar spread on top. Plough that in.
Then dolerite (basalt) spread and tilled in.
Then possibly more biochar if it's been charged spread again although it looks like the biochar ploughed in might keep and stop any nutrients from leaching.
Then lime and sow and fert and roll.

This post will be looked back on in 20 years time and they'll say. That fella knew what he was doing. :p

    Better living everyone

What does a reseeding cost per acre? Do ye do
All the work yourself. Have a few acres of ok-ish fields that I taught about reseeding but seems like and expensive job to contract. Rarely done around me.

Problem was mine started the day working, spent from 9:30 to 1:45 not working which meant it had to keep working until 9:00 tonight.

Not so many tankers around here, can only see lads with the umbilical pipes. Drove past one farm, the distance he traveled was unreal. Miles of pipe and more to spare on the extra reels.

Thought they were over? Plenty of honey and water. They will have to arrange something else so he might be on later in the week. Not something to get worried about
