Lovely and typical finish Pat James had tonight.

They had better leave Off the Record alone in the coming purge. Pat James is a rare jewel in the Nova crown.

It looks like the 'Colm & Lucy Show on Radio Nova' is starting on Thursday, I heard an ad on Quigley's show this morning. During the ad, they were reading out the names of the 'sub team' of the new show. When they mentioned Producer Clint, he muttered 'I've nowhere else to go'. That did make me chuckle.

Should it not be the Lucy and Colm show......or it is a case of "my ball"...

I don't think they'll change the night time shows. Off the Record and Friday Night Rock Show are fairly niche and both have a loyal following. Don't think those listeners are that worried about the morning rubbish.

Wouldn't be surprised if Eoghan McDermott filled in for Kennedy or Hayes one morning.

Nope... but it'd be a nice return to guitar music radio for him.

Put Nova on when I got in the car on Friday night. Couldn't believe my ears! Kid Gloves by Rush.

A Rush song that wasn't Tom Sawyer or Spirit of Radio!

I only thought I'd hear such a track on Spotify. Not sure whose show it was ?

If only Nova could play the odd surprise track like that during prime time.

If it was after 10pm, it would have been the excellent Tony Ainscough's show.

I'd say it's much more than a case of my ball, it's a case of my sport!

Glad it wasn't Big Time Rush. (Warning: Don't Google them if you hate cheesy pop.)

Not going to even try.....am messed up in the head enough as it is!

So guess it's going to be back to Lyric FM/RTE Gold/music on phone or something else relaxing on Thurs morning. By the look of the posts on FB about the new presenters it's going to be a trainwreck. Or maybe a car crash, if it's really that bad and the M50 commuters decide to end it all in a massive pile up.

He's definitely going to be anointed a 'Nova Artist' now. Then again, what does 'Nova Artist' even mean anymore? They've been dying to bring him into the mix for a while now. Once Conor Irwin started to mention him on 'The Dirt' I knew it was only a matter of time before the ginger one would be coming in our ears.

heard those two the last couple of mornings....Colm is a bit "Carry on..." with his humour
Don't think this kind of humour belongs on any radio station at any time of the day in 2018...complete cringe, heard far too many innuendos in the little spots they've done so far....skin crawling
