Garmin Pilot App vs Sky Demon

I'm looking at getting a moving map app for my iPad to fly with. My plan is to use it both in Ireland and the US.

The main contenders I see are the Garmin Pilot app and Sky Demon. ForeFlight is common in the US but doesn't have great functionality in Europe.

Does anyone have experience using both of these? What would you recommend? Ideally, I'd like to use the one app for both locations.

    Any thoughts?

They're both very good. I started with SD so found it hard to get used to GP when I got it. GP was preferred for IFR but SD are now starting to up their game with geo-referenced approach plates. The huge advantage SD has is that it shows comms frequencies associated with all bits of airspace where GP doesn't

Foreflight adding European functionality soon apparently, looks fairly impressive.
