Is it possible to source older versions of budget phones, say 2016-17 models for under €100? i don't need super quality camera but I do want reasonable storage capacity. All makes considered including Huawei and Xiaomi.

    What about something like this?

€103 delivered - If storage was an issue you could add in a microsd in the other sim slot.

A Nokia 3 is worth considering. A nice little phone for the money, and it's 99eur from Vodafone at the minute. I'm not sure how possible it is to unlock these however.

I bought a Samsung Ace 3 few years ago, having previously had a Huawei at about the same price. No experience with Xiaomi but it seems to be a popular make. The model you quote looks pretty good for that price. How reliable are honorbuy? I notice from other forums that it's the least expensive supplier. Thanks for the suggestions.

Have heard good things as well about honorbuy.

That phone linked does not have band 20 for LTE use here, if that is important for you.
If you live in a city, you would be fine.

Other Xiaomi phones have band 20, see kimovil link.

Thanks Corkie. Can you explain to a 79-year-old geezer what LTE means? I can just about get my head around 3G and 4G. The latter isn't important to me.

LTE is just another name/variation for 4G connectivity!

4G vs LTE – what is the difference?
