Ok folks, seems there's a little bit of issue with game pacing. I can't find it specifically but I believe when I mooted the idea the intention was to run two rounds per week.

If that's too quick for some people, please speak now and we can reduce the pace - although the issue I'm seeing is the league games are KILLING the friendly matches at present. So, if we do one round a week, I'd hope other teams would either sign up for friendlies or just set up normal games.

The two games a week was (I thought) a decent pacing to be setting, granted holidays and WW games etc will affect this rate but if I'm mistaken that's fine too and we can reduce.

Moving on, the possibility of subs is ok by me, but only if all players are on board with it. If Tigger wants to toss his hat in the ring, it would be great.

Not trying to annoy anyone truly, just want to run the league as smoothly as I can.

Other option or even for future leagues is to schedule 3 games over a 2 week period. Gives some time then for friendlies aswell and less likely for a back log to happen.

The other thing is if someone knows they are going to be unavailable for a week or something then flag it in advance give that team priority in arranging games so they don't come back to a back log.

Yeah it's a teething process so I'm ironing out kinks as they come up. Future leagues can then be run much more efficiently :P

But that seems fair to me, assuming other people are cool with it.

And onwards and upwards.
