Well tickle my balls and call me Sally, that was yet another screamer of an episode. Truly awe inspiring stuff.
If this doesn't get an Oscar I'll shout that it's fixed.
Oh sorry wrong show. ****ing ****ing ****ing ****e.
Are we seriously to believe, AGAIN, that a group of gob****e saviours creeping up to the house not wonder 1) why are all these cars parked facing us? And 2) how in the name of Christ did they not all get killed?
Have they taken on the writer from the matrix and not told him what the show is about?
Then Maggie, that was a belter of a shot she took when she shot the lad about 100m away on a piece of scaffolding without even so much as a sweat. I'd recommend the guards hire her for our armed corps brigade.
Carol, is her main aim now just to be sad?
    Enid.. I so would
The lion king, he found his balls fierce quick didn't he?
The kid is the new Carl I see so basically a twat
Rick needs to fess up that we was never actually a policeman cause he can't shoot for ****.
Daryl just annoys me now along with that other fat ass lesbian.
Why oh why did they kill off shane??

At least Fear The Walking Dead is back in 3 weeks as this stuff is really testing now.

Who'd have thought that in a land with the undead that a simple bamboo stick and a manic depressive personality is what defeats zombies best.

I thought It was agreed that everyone had what ever dissease that zombieism is, if you cut somebody with a non-zombie person guts you could probably give them infection they could die from without medicine, is it all just faster.

I remember reading a lot of discussion about the science of TWD and the zombie virus some years ago.
The most “plausible” explanation, I thought, was that the virus, though it is present in living humans, is in a dormant non-aggression stage of its lifecycle.

Upon death of the host, the dormant virus would enter the aggressor state, beginning to utilise the now defunct host’s anatomy as a vehicle.
The most likely detection method used by the virus to detect death and activate may be the drop off in oxygen levels of the cells. Body temperature could not be relied on as readily, since warmer environments, such as you may find in Southern US summer, could maintain the corpse around the 37 degree mark, delaying deployment.

When a zombie bites a living human, or they are cut or stabbed by a weapon contaminated with zombie gore, active aggressor stage virii enter the living body through the wound, and begin trying to carry out the process of multiplying and taking the wheel, so to speak.

Because the aggressor form of the virus cannot go backwards in its lifecycle, any more than a butterfly can become a caterpillar, it cannot just go back to dormancy, so it fights the immune responses and wins, producing necrotic tissue, initially nearest the wound site. This process begins to activate the dormant virus in those now dead tissues producing “backup” for the initial invasion force. The process continues exponentially until total death of the host occurs and the virus gains total control of the corpse.

This is how some like Herschel managed to survive by lopping off a limb before it spreads through the circulatory and other system which are still working.

One question though: As The Saviours were using infected weapons to turn the Hilltoppers did Dwight intentionally wound Tara with a gunshot to save her? Couldn't really tell what was going on there with the pace and the darkness.

He shot her with the crossbow presumably to save her as it wasn’t infected?

Too many episodes in each season now. Bits of action followed by people talking. And nothing but ****e coming out of their mouths as well. Judith for example.

It's now getting agonising to watch.

I watched a bit of that show and thought it was worse than The Walking Dead itself!

You would think that having survived the zombie apocalypse for a few years now that they would at least try to kick or shake off a zombie who goes to grab and bite your leg? As for the the Ninja zombies falling down the stairs while making no noise and blending into the crowd, ffs.
sure last week Rick and Negan could happily stroll around a house full of walkers without a care

Ninja zombies are my particular bug bear going back to Andrea in the woods a few seasons back. really silly stuff

Seriously why bother watching it just to bitch about it?

In the hope that what was a great show finds its direction again.

What's the story with not being able to hit a person with an assault rifle yet a few arrows shot into the air hit loads of people. They managed to shoot out the saviours lights with a few shots yet couldn't hit the people standing up on the back of the trucks.

It had a shaky start but gets way better from Season 3.

The first walker who managed to take out two people, from behind, FROM THE DIRECTION THEY HAD JUST BEEN FACING THREE SECONDS AGO, has to be some breed of super-walker (runner?) to have been that effective. The guy in the med-bay, maybe I can buy it that it was dark enough and the walker was behind something so he didn't see him. But the woman guarding outside... he literally came up behind her from the side she had just come from in an open area. How can the writers and directors not manage to frame this in a way that works, eight seasons into the f*cking show?

Also, he's been a background character for years. I recognise him, but don't remember anything he's done bar maybe disagreeing with Rick about something and I can't remember him having any kind of bond with Carol. That's how bloated the show is with side characters, who inevitably just become fodder to not have to kill off main characters but still keep the show bloody.

I thought the same thing from watching the first half of season one... has it improved?

I've watched all three, and while it does improve, that improvement is on the back of a terrible season 1, and an atrocious season 2, so any improvement desn't necessarily make it that good. The characters are still annoyingly idiotic a lot of the time, and the story lines are as stupid as TWD too, but it is actually better than what's come from TWD in the last two years. They're also not afraid to kill off main characters at a fairly regular pace.

I've stopped watching TWD now, since about 3 episodes ago. I'm only hear to see if anyone exclaims about a suddenly (and unlikely) great episode that I might come back to it. Probably watch the final episode, just because...

I watched half of S1 of Fear The Walking Dead and lost interest.
Hearing what a time sink it is and knowing first hand how awful TWD has gotten, I won't be taking a chance on Fear.

Was it just me or was it so dark you couldnt see what was going on?

Yeah I thought it was quite dark too, turned up the light on my laptop bc I thought it was the problem!

I must say though, when zombie Tobin attacked the guy at the infirmary, that was the first time in many seasons I yelped watching TWD. The zombies were a real threat again, instead of just background to the ongoing soap opera.

Siddiq had the worst first day at work ever, and it seems Maggie doesn't really trust him now either from her asking why he was out by the pen.

I find it painful though that as soon as they kill off Carl, they replace him with another annoying vengeful kid who never does what he's told.

Shame Tara or Enid weren't attacked/infected in the frenzy. It would have been a good chance to cull some mid-card characters.

I don't often say it, but so much stupidity in one episode really grated on me watching that one.

Right arrow [+ 5 seconds], Right arrow [+ 5 seconds], Right arrow [+ 5 seconds]

    Some action.

Right arrow [+ 5 seconds], Right arrow [+ 5 seconds], Right arrow [+ 5 seconds]

    Lights on.

Right arrow [+ 5 seconds], Right arrow [+ 5 seconds], Right arrow [+ 5 seconds]

    Silence at the graves.

    End.

    Wow, a 16 minute episode!

I thought Tara did get hit with an infected arrow. When they came up to tell her what was after happening at the end of the episode, I assume that was to let her know that she's going to die..

They don't know it's not infected - presuming Dwight went for the old triple-cross. But in reality he saved her from being slashed by Simon whose axe was definitely infected (remember Simon's instructions before they went in - no kill shots).

Sooner Henry gets killed, the better. Another waste of screen time.

The fact that I have absolutely no idea whatsoever who Henry is, and furthermore, couldn't care less, probably says all that needs to be said about my current relationship with this show.

I feel at this stage that I also owe you an apology for introducing you to it in the first place.

Only finally sat down last night to watch. Started falling asleep after 10 mins. Switched it off after 15 mins. Cancelled the linked recordings on the box. I've finally given up on the show. Sad, but it's turned into aimless, pointless, septic storytelling.
