They would save a lot of money if they did alot of the demolition works themselves, him so close from the farm to the house.

his mumbling is reminding me of the Eurovision presenter on Father Ted (played by Pat Shortt) - stick a tuxedo on him and he'll probably be much easier to understand :)

Why not get an architect whose style you actually like?

When I think of Dermot I think open plan and big windows.

    "Who lives like that anymore."

Jayzus, he's such a condescending bollix sometimes.

Yeah she didn't want Dermot. She just wanted someone to do exactly what she wanted rather than advice

To be honest I don't get why would you get Dermot if you weren't into open plan!

She is a typical teacher. See her nearly sneering at dermot ideas. Laughing like a teenager would...like duh!! Uptight and high maintainence.

Is this one amish or something .

Another bloody teacher.... Once I saw her I just knew she is a teacher.....
Reminds of that awful teacher married to the hurler.

They need an engineer not an architect. Tell her to draw the design on a napkin and get her partners friend to build it with leftover blocks.

She's being a little harsh and it's obvious she's not interested in architecture.
She's obviously never lived in open plan house. I think what Dermot had for the plan was quite good.

I think Dermot will sneak into the house when it is nearly finished and knock down a few walls to give them the open plan that they don't yet know that they really want!

doesnt work like that. the time delays and only demoing stuff by half would screw up the build and would ony save very small money. they couldnt even have all their crap out of the way

    I've changed my mind.

Dermot is the one with great patience.

Not everyone wants open plan , and if you're paying for it , it should be done the way you want it .

The arguing makes for great tv though :)

This will have a lot more arguments between herself and Dermot . Two strong personalities and Dermot doesn't take advice or criticism well.

Id say she wears the pants anyway, the husband won't open his mouth for the next 50/60 years. :pac:

She wants to be on the telly and to show everyone she’s the boss....the husband is basically cowering in the background

    Another b@llache of a wan.

Open plan would be better and more modern. She wants an old school home.

Loads of parents should land into her and tell her how to teach the class after the Easter Holidays!
