I think fizzle out. It has all morning anyway on the radar.

In Cork now myself (decided to go anyway after asking here earlier - M7/8 was a bit ropey around Laois and down to one lane in South Tipp) but despite a bit of snow blowing around at times its dry and even bright for the most part

Nasty thaw on around goatstown, roads and paths clearing. Not enough snow cover for the sled, have to drive :(

Just drove from Carlow to Navan. Not a bother, just go easy and concentrate, other drivers are worse than the weather.

Streamer setting up heading for Dublin can anyone back this up?

Still snowing in Wexford. Looking at the radar the heavy band that's been sitting over Cornwall and South Wales is eventually starting to move towards Ireland.

Satellite imagery suggests that a large area of deep cloud has recently developed between Anglesey and the Isle of Man. If this is the case, I would expect radar returns to start backing this up around now. May be nothing but could also be something big!

Last 3 frames on Netweather radar showing this up. Its growing in size as it looks to make its way to dublin.
Not yet showing on met radar, but looks sizeable on net weather radar so assuming it will come in to view on metE shortly

It's just some high, non-convective cloud, so shouldn't see anything on radar.

From that blob of lee cloud forming off Snowdonia and stretching up to IOM? I don't see anything on radar from it.
