Has anybody here being to school with any famous criminals.(You don't have to post names).
To the best of my knowledge there's being no past pupils who ended up murders/rapists in past few decades.
However we have had the usual drug deals. robbers, etc.
The biggest criminal was in my class in school has about 57 previous convictions for drugs, robbery, road offences, etc. He's currently in jail for about three years for drug possession.

Not famous, but lad I was mates with in senior infants, saw his name in the paper ages ago. Got a serious amount of time for armed robbery of a PO.

I went to school in primary with a lad who you knew was going to be bad news...
Dropped out of school at 12...petty theft, muggings armed robbery & ended up dealing drugs.... then owed the suppliers quite a bit of cash so skipped to London... didn't hear about him for a number of years until his mother announced he's been found in a wheelie bin in 5 or 6 pieces

There was a chap I knew in school, his family were travellers and he was always used to stink ****ing putrid so everyone took the piss out of him (Like I was bullied, and I know I played at least a small part in bullying him which I feel awful about) and he was always massively reacted to it. Found out a few years ago he murdered his girlfriend and her sister and her mother, then cut them up and put them in bin bags, left them in his car for weeks and weeks. In prison now.

No, and back then I thought a good cross section of the demented lairy hoors would end up criminals. A lot of them ended up becoming police. Still time left I suppose

Went to school with someone who is now very well known, and high profile,CAB, Sunday World etc.

Back in the day, he was a nice guy, quiet, unassuming and very good looking.

Not school but maybe U11-U13 GAA. Two lads who you’d fairly easily find the news story about. Both got into the “game” (as The Wire has thought me it’s called) but on opposing teams. So about a decade plus after I knew them, one killed the other. Said killer went to prison. Said killer never made it out of prison as he’s no longer of this world.

    2 very high profile names

One was shot dead a few years ago, suspected himself of ordering multiple murders

The other is a "boxing promoter"

Just the one , fairly serious fraudster .
He's an accountant and is a guest of prison service at the moment.
Houses , cars and boats that CAB are showing a lot of interest in.

Not famous but a guy I was in school with and would have considered a good pal was up in court a few years ago for sexually abusing a young girl of 7 when he was 16, not sure how much time he did but it wasn't a lot, he's no longer a pal I can tell you that much.

    "The robin in the garden,

    That was me,

    I'm still here, Loving you..

    Until we meet again. "

    Fair few.

One was involved in the shooting (not the shooter) of a young woman about 10 years ago.

One bloke from my class who I was good friends with back in school was shot dead along with another bloke who was a year ahead of us about 3 or 4 years ago.

There have been plenty of others in and out for various things.

No proper criminals, really. The odd time, I see names from school popping up in the court pages of the local paper, but it's usually just motoring offences or the odd drunk & disorderly - sometimes both. There was one guy who did a short stint in prison for selling ecstasy in his late teens, but I'm fairly sure he never re-offended.

Guy I went to school with is doing time for murder. He was trouble back when he was a kid too, just never wanted to do the right thing.

One of my secondary school caretakers did time for an aggravated burglary involving an old woman being beaten. My third class teacher was a convicted paedophile.

Did he murder a lover or a criminal type?
