Poor David. It was so creepy...David trying to push his hand away even though it had no strength.

I think we all know what Josh' favourite position is.

Have to say, it was very well done. Difficult to watch :(

Jesus...yes it was hard to watch! If we hadn't read the spoilers..imagine!..
I would've thought Josh was a grand chap! The way things were going lately, I might've been suspecting there was a storyline coming up where David was doubting his sexuality....A sound, new friend, handsome too....Jesus would I have been in shock tonight! There'd have been smoke billowing from my phone here with the speed of my posts on this thread!

I thought the David rape story was going well until Josh said "lights on or off".

Reminded me of a scene in the final Hannibal Lector film. Josh was almost like Anthony Hopkins/Hannibal Lector in his acting. Scary.

It will be interesting to see how the story continues. Holyoaks is revisiting the male rape story also.

I have to say I enjoyed last nights episode and found it rather believable. I was expecting it to be a lot worse I suppose I over thought it.

    "Bowels in or out?"

    Zeedan: How much longer?
Robert: Might be a while, you don't even have an appointment
    Alex: Zeedan Nazir?
    Me: Waitwhat?

    ----

Though I wouldn't put too muych faith in the appointment list. When they showed it onscreen, among other entries, people were down for three-hour long blood tests and two hour long prescription renewals. No wonder there was a queue.

    ----

Fiz: You and Sinead gave it another go
Chesney: Yeah and look how that turned out (referring to Sinead returning to Daniel, and not the fact that weeks previous his own insecurities made him run off at the altar and end the relationship for good, i.e. his own fault)

    ----

Lots of people on Twitter making jokes about rape after that. Almost makes you wonder why victims are reluctant to talk about or report it.

    Knew what you meant immediately!

I think Josh is a very good actor. He was fitting in very well and has very good chemistry with the others, unlike some pointless people such as Kate that don't really fit in at all.

Because playing baddies are the most fun to play as well. I’ve heard actors say that before.

The one who plays Kate is a very poor actor, spends most of her time furrowing her brow.

Emotions from surprise to happiness to horror and fright are all expressed by the aforementioned brow furrowing combined with the mouth being
    a) open or
    b) shut and
    c) a shake of the head depending on how serious it all is.

That man Josh is a sick, horrible and evil man. I feel extremely sorry for David and my heart broke for him last night. It was disgusting and upsetting to watch.

Very uncomfortable viewing last night :( Josh is seriously creepy, wonder how they will play this one out now - will Josh hang around with David afraid to report it ?

I wish Fizz would leave, I fast forward her scenes

I thought the scenes with David were done very well. Great acting by the two of them. Enough content to make it clear that David was totally out of it and Josh knew exactly what he was doing. Looking forward to seeing how they handle the aftermath.

Exacto - the joy of not knowing in advance make it a better better show.

I, for one, would have loved and enjoyed your response if it had been an unexpected twist.

As I get older I think this is why I am more and more enjoying live sport! (Never thought I would say that!!! )

Harrowing but brillant, David clearly pushing him away but not able to push him away.

Hopefully they don't release any spoilers at all on how it rolls out.

Cant believe Jack P Shepard is still in this show! Isnt it always the same old thing with him- goes nuts now and then, smashes up the place then calms down and returns to his mammy?? Seriously, a guy his age still living with his mammy and working in his grans hairdresser for a living? Got to be one of the most unrealistic characters ever. Wonder will he ever get itchy feet and move on like his co star Ryan Thomas did.

That poor guy. Depressing to think the charges were dropped and these animals most likely will do it again.

Agreed. I can't actually think of anything worse to happen to a man than that tbh.
There's a stigma in society against male rape victims that does not exist for female victims.
My heart goes out to him.

He owns the house, he bought it off Gail.
