Must say the British health system is brilliant, pat seconds from death,on breathing machine and still home in spotlessly clean clothes and Sally's party still going strong. Do the script writers live in the real world, surely he'd be in overnight after an accident like that and a ward full of investigators

I dunno where he got his clean clothes from, but eileen said as they came in through the front door "you shouldnt have discharged yourself pat"

how are they gonna retrieve the phone? - it will be covered in concrete and it will no longer work (unless its an old skool Nokia 3310 or whatever, you can drop them down toilet, drive over them , nuke them in a microwave oven and they will still work LOL :D )

and if they want to get to the IMEI number to trace it back to him they are going to have to hack away the cement to get to the battery compartment

If he dropped a Nokia 3310 the whole mill would have been demolished from the shock waves.

I did actually watch it last night but I must have purged it from my mind because I don't remember any of this.

    Twister? Give me a break!
    And Geena. Sake.

Also, hasn't Fizz been away for the last 3 months? You'd think she'd be delighted to collect the kids and put them to bed.

oh this kate n rana thing is just rubbish isnt it ..

Also I presume the actress who plays Rana makes copious use of the fake tears stuff? She seems to go from welling up slightly to Niagara Falls gushing from her eyeballs in the time it takes for the camera to flick to Kate's face and back.

Ooooh...I've read stuff about Phelan and what happens.
So apparently the bodies are found on the site next week.
Pat and Eileen are on holiday and Liz phones Eileen to tell her. She has a row with Phelan. There's a scuffle where he tries to kill her, but she ends up pushing him off the cliff into the sea. Whether that kills him or not I don't know. Look what happened to Harold in Neighbours lol

Hospitals have second hand clothes for cases like this, or where you're covered in blood or for junkies/down and outs who come in covered in God knows what. You don't have to accept them.

They come from the clothes bins where you dump you're unwanted clothes and are usually donated by the Red Cross or St Vincent de Paul. They're washed first and are usually tracksuit bottoms, sweatshirts, T-shirts, fleece jackets etc. Almost a one-size-fits-all. That's the way it used to be, possibly that in Ireland some health & safety merchant have stopped it.

Nursing homes run by the State certainly had them up until about 12 months ago.

    The beginning of the end

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,300 ✭✭✭✭casio4

that end bit was well done, I was thinking Tim couldn't be recording it on his phone as he wasn't expecting Pat to hop in the back of the taxi and he wouldn't have had time to record it but the car radio was a beauty

She s not reacting how I'd like her to react. She still doesn't fully get it :pac:

What an idiot? That's me done with Corrie.

Oh what a plank! Feck Eileen. Hope Pat whacks her with a brick at this stage.

He is such a manipulative sneak. Putting the decision on to her. 'If you think that's what should happen', so she feels the resultant fall out is her responsibility.

I think that Tim really is a quality actor - I would love to see him being the one to take Phelan down properly - nice and calmly, that was a great scene in the taxi

    So Eileen forgives again :(

Pat is brilliant, he puts those whiney younger actors to shame

    Well that was an anti-climax!

I will be really pissed off if Pat just gets killed off in the end. I want to see him pay for all his crimes.

It would be so disrespectful to both the actors and characters if their deaths aren't properly revealed and explained.

He's very much wasted in his banal role of Faye's dad and Sally's husband.

Also wtf now Eileen being like "you didn't answer your phone when Michael died" - right well that's what a year to two years late as a revelation? I'd rather see Pat crumble wi guilt and reveal what happened wi Michael than a pishy "Oh you didn't answer my call".

That was a good twist with Tim
