Protecting Wall Behind Stove installed on Block Wall

    Hi All,

I am planning on installing a Stratford Ecoboiler stove in a kitchen on an external block wall which has been drylined (using normal dry lining slabs), and skimmed.

There is no chimney, so the flue goes straight up and through the roof (high roof, & no attic).

My question regards protecting the wall on which the stove is installed from burning.

The options for around the stove look like (a) tile (b) install false stone (c) install a steel plate around wall to back of stove (d) granite/marble around wall to back of stove. (e) There looks to be another board called MULTIBOARD or MULTIPRO XS.

Has anyone heard of it / used it and what do you think ?

What would you recommend in this situation.

    Thanks in advance
