TV3 beat RTÉ hands down - Weather Coverage

No comparison on coverage of weather on these stations . TV3 have a number of individuals on the ground across multiple locations reporting on a constant basis live . RTÉ seem to be confined to Donnybrook with a far lower amount of coverage and probably getting paid 5 times what the TV3 staff are getting.

I have followed RTE's weather coverage of the weather. But what was the need of relaying radio 1 programmes on RTE One Tv channel when it was on the News Now channel which should be available on all tv platforms within Ireland. I noticed TV3 regurgitate a lot of their weather related documentaries over the past few days but haven't tuned into them for live coverage.
