quake3 problems

    for some reason i can't connect to a q3 server by entering the server details. it connects fine to one of the servers that comes up on the server list, but it won't connect to either:
    games1.iol.ie or
    vishnu.ign.ie regardless of whether i use ip numbers or not.

    has any one else had this problem?

    does it say "unknown client to auth"?

    gets as far as waiting for connection and just counts up and up.

    That's happened to me MANY a time. Maybe the servers were fuxxored when u tried... Otherwise dunno, just keep trying.

    its odd because it will connect to the q3 servers on the list np's and generally with only a ping of 150ish smile.gif
