    Phew

I love beating Wales, but we don’t make it easy

Farrell was absolutely immense on his debut today. So impressive in both attack and defence. Great to see a guy come in like that and do so well. Porter had a wonderful game too. Locked down the scrum all day and was energetic in the loose. Great to see new faces do so well.

Game was won by our back row today though. Leavy was fantastic.

8 in 7 for Stockdale. That intercept was all or nothing. Waaaaay too close for comfort though.

Clock was red, even if he fluffed it a little and it was awarded as an accidental knock on, it would have ended the game.

They made such hard work of that. Get rid of Best and we’ll lift the Grand Slam

Wonderful game. Wales made Ireland work for that.

    That was a roller coaster.

And still a lot to work on, Sexton surly not 100% fit.

    Great by the young guys

Stockdale taking far too much of a risk there at the end. Could have opened up the defensive line for the Welsh or knocked on the ball. Sure, he scored a try, but these games are won on fine margins and I think he showed his naivete at this level. England will be licking their lips. Good player but maybe it's too early for him at this level?

Couldn't have, at least 80 minutes had to be played.

Great 2nd half. Great result in the end. Ireland thoroughly deserved the win today & the GS still on. What more could you ask for? Brilliant.

Porter has only been playing TH for about a year, right?

Almost two years. I think he switched in a April or May.

Can we not enjoy the win. :)

He took the ball cleanly. Wasnt a finger tip effort. He had it in his sights for a long time

Kearney and Best were terrible. Missed numerous tackles.

Some game. Much deserved win, I'd say that's a bonus point England may not have taken account for.

Stockdale deserved that at the end. Huge performances by a host of players

As I posted already, the clock was dead. Short of it being awarded a deliberate knock on, as long as he got to the ball at all, it was exactly what we needed. Fantastic read, and the odds were definitely in his favour going for it.
