Just did our first 'family' tyrannitar, 3 of us with machamps/hariyama's/heracross (two lvl 37 players small fella lv28)

Failed a Machamp raid twice today after 2 successes previously , i should have taken more notice of his charge move as maybe it was tougher than last time , my Espeons and Alkazams got wiped out fairly quickly , or maybe some of my mons were weather boosted before without me noticing , bit frustrated after it as I had that down as one I could beat as needed!

    The hunt is over!

Had a lucky day in Dublin city today. 3 legendary raids netted my my 1st & 2nd Kyogre!
I also decided to compkete a few evolves earlier this evening. (Crawdaunt, Exploud, Shiftry, Ludicolo)

So now hovering at 331 caught/ 329 seen.
Still to 'lay eyes' on Flygon or its 2 previous forms. I am predicting another 200km of buddy walking ahead of me with Trapinch!
(Had to do 245km for TTar)

That's our target for the end of March.
What level of Machamps/ movesets do you have in the Lvl 37 teams?
Did you do it with cloud or without?

All fighters were between lvl30-31, cp around 2400 , all with counter and then a mixture of close combat/dynamic punch.
    I used 4 machamps, 1 heracross and 1 hariyama, other lvl 37: 3 machamps, 1 heracross, 2 hariyama.

Weather was partly cloudy when we started but it changed on the hour to rain. Reckon we have 40-50seconds left on the clock.

After doing the tyrannitar , we'd deffo like to try aggron, could also add groudon and other good ground types into the battle.

Nice one. It’s rare but I’ve seen that it has been found in nests.

Went up to Dublin today, it was a fairly disappointing day as far as raids were concerned, not as many were going on as the last few times I was up.

    They're not uncommon around us.
It reminds me of a guy I play soccer with.

Nevermind, situation back to normal. Was in Dublin city centre yesterday and took part in 6 raids (2 were weather boosted Kyogre)........nothing caught.
    Oh well!

    331 caught/341 seen

finally, 100 feebas candies, but I think I'll wait a while to see if a better one comes along. I still need a ton of trapinch and not even seen a lileep yet.

I’m a long way off 100, but I think it’s a good idea. I can’t see myself getting more than a single Miliotic so would like a decent specimen.
I’ve seen a single Lileep so far, another candidate for lots of bloody walking!!!

I would assume lileep will be a 3k walk and just get 50 of them. I'm not sure if trapinch/lileep are effected by the weather like the way cacnea/lotad are.

Im walking Vibrava at the moment , Trapinch's evolution , have 17/100 candies , but i reckon they will be become more common along with lileep at some stage , going to go with a week of each alternating at the moment , have plenty of rare candies but will hold off the temptation to use some of those.
Thinking the March community day also will be candy related , even if it is a bit off yet

Went out today to get some Geodudes and Omanytes.
Came back instead with a brace of Lileeps and Feebas.

Not a bad weekend for raids by our standards.
Beat weather boosted Machamp twice and came very close to duo-ing Ninetales with almost no prep.
I think we're about 2 weeks away from our first attempt at duo-ing a cloudy Absol

I hatched a Lileep from a 5km egg his morning, so that’s a plus when they are so rare in the wild

What are peoples thoughts on whether we will get a Valentines day event this year ?
Last year it ran from 08/02-15/02 with Double Candy; Increased pink Pokemon; Increased Baby Pokemon; 6-Hour Lure Modules

I’m thinking that the monthly community days will reduce the events for smaller occasions. I think Easter, Halloween and Christmas will remain however.

Ya I was thinking that too , but the community days are only 3 hours ,so may be a new initiative as there was quite a gap between some events last year , maybe they should just reduce duration rather than frequency.
It was Dec 1 when the last full event finished and Easter is nearly another 2 months away ,so Im expecting something , we'll see.

I have little faith in my ability to dodge, so the plan for soloing Machamp without weather boost is to tank up the Alakazams until they can withstand 2 CMs. Is that possible and what kind of HP/Lvl should I be looking at?

Or would I be better to put in a Dragonite at No. 6 instead of Espeon?

A level 40 Alakazam will not survive 2 direct CM's, as said earlier focus on breakpoints and making sure that your Kazam has the correct moveset.

If your Dragonite has good IV's and Hurricane as it's charge move then I would choose that over Espeon as an anchor, Espeon makes an awful anchor as it is a glass canon.

Just got an EX raid invite, to a gym I fought once, back in December, in Newry. I live in Wicklow. Ah well, maybe next time.

EX raid passes were just sent out to most of my local group, includong the young fella, for a gym we've been targeting. And I got one for the same time for a different gym close to where I work instead! Even though I was obviously at the raid which triggered my boy's pass. Doing a solo actually kept me from getting a local one.

Bit of a longshot but do ye think there's any chance they'd change it if I emailed them? (I have a mewtwo already from the trial phase so I won't be distraught if I can't, but I will feel I'm missing out on a party)
