Pigeons on rape

    It was in the Farming Indo on Tuesday last that there are huge flocks of pigeons attacking oilseed rape in Clane Co Kildare. Lads getting 150 bags a day no bother.

    Put about 500 hundred birds off a field of rape last weekend but it is near impossible to decoy them there is 100 acres of rape in 3 fields.
    I was hoping to catch up with them roost shooting after this weekend.

    Same here in north Dublin 1000s of pigeons but loads of rape dotted around the area so hard to pin down
