She’s a dub! Dublin culchie couples are often great in my experience

The depth and life experience of the tallaght girl and the culchie really shows up the shallowness of the Tweenies they've had on the last two weeks. Against my better judgement I'm enjoying first dates Ireland.

If they are all as decent and seemingly genuine as that,we'll excuse the accent.

She had everything going for her. Educated as well

I'm a culchie myself but that was some bogger accent

    God damn Germans.

Really enjoyed the Laois-Tallaght couple though. They were engaged in each other from the get-go. She didn't flinch at his big "reveal" and he showed genuine emotion to her story too. He seemed like a decent sort of lad too. Delighted for them both.

Thought the Sligo/Mayo lad was hitting it off with the Down MILF too. Convinced they would see each other again.

The American girl really lived up to the stereotype around those religious types-the fella was too nice to avoid at all costs. I have a feeling it won't develop any further beyond the "just friends" status.

One things for sure though- based on the series so far- the youngsters can learn a thing or two from their elders when it comes to conversation/banter and general manners during a date.

That young vain guy with the hair, he was made for that jedward looking twat from Galway last week.
Laois guy and dub girl were one of the most enjoyable couples on the show so far. Way better than watching 18 year olds discussing their hard lives

That was filmed in September apparently.
Seems I don't need to buy a wedding hat just yet.

Aww..this was a much better episode than last week anyway..
It'd restore your faith in relationships..
(Even though I'll probably die alone..)

To be fair, he embraced how raw he sounded. It's not like he can do much about it.

100%, also what's it about these eejits and they're getting to know you round fo questions... Cat or dog...game of thewns or wawking dead?? eeww you're so dead to me right now!! shallow as a teaspoon these lads are.

Was it just me or did the laois guy and Dub girl have a wealth of deep **** to share in such a small space of time...that losing their child and then her partner would be enough to finish anyone off, jesus that's character for you I'll give her that.

Throw that adversity at the tweens and see what happened eh!!! The adversity is an ill judged hairstyle or 2 days without my I phone!!! generation.

Most of the criticism thrown at the young 'uns this season is justified but this is a bit much. It's a first date with someone you've never seen before in your life, it's meant to be light hearted and fun. I don't see what's wrong with talking about tv shows you watch on a first date (or any date really) and the dead to me comment was clearly just taking the piss.

I'd say the 'deep shít' is far worse. It's not stuff you should really talk about on a first date unless it comes up naturally. Given how frequently it happens on the show, I'm assuming the show encourages them to do it

I could understand why the girl from Tallaght did. She was asked if she had any kids. I don't think a woman who carried a child would deny that they had so saying it is likely to be the least worst option.

On the young'ns, ok sorry If I sound harsh, it's a combination of the fake accents and bad questions that gets me. Also, they often act like aliens, "Do you like pickles??, try the chips, mmmm" ah maybe it's me then.

I agree with you on the Deep ****, sometimes it looks like it's suitable if they're supine on a leather couch if you get me! Is it first dates or first intervention!!!
