    Did anyone else buy this?

When it's switched on for a while and heats up the black plastic on the top and bottom of the lamp fairly stinks.
Smells like it's almost melting, but it isn't

Does anyone else have this issue with the lamp?

Might be because it's new, however no harm sending it back to Lidl if you feel it might be at a risk of melting. If the smell doesn't go away after first use I'd be bringing it back.
