    Professionals Needed: Registered Electrician

    An electrical contractor is failing to complete re-wiring my house. It was meant to be complete this week but the guy is simply not turning up to finish it (can't or won't - same thing). Most of the new wiring has been installed but fittings need to be put in, a new fuse board installed, reconnected to the mains and tested. Also will need to supply the necessary documentation & certification. If the work is not complete by this weekend I will need to get someone else to do it. I'm looking for someone who can get onto this job quickly and complete it early next week - there's probably a day to a day and a half's work in it for a competent and organised contractor.

    Works: carefully pull up the original floor boards, replace any joists that need replacing, insulate between them with a product such as Ballytherm​, re-lay them and sand and refinish.

    Garage roof consists of 24, 8 foot by 2.5 foot sheets. I would need to get someone to take the sheets down and dispose of them properly. I've been quoted €1,500 which seems expensive to me. Could anyone suggest any companies and how much they would charge?
