First post here so not sure if its been mentioned, but really enjoying 'Shot in the Dark' about LA's freelance journalists or 'stringers'.

If anyone has seen the movie Nightcrawler, they'll know what its about, I think one of the companies participating in the program worked as technical adviser to the movie too.

A movie that the kids have watched several times that I never really took too much notice until I watched it fully this evening, but Rise of the Guardians is really an under appreciated gem of a movie.

But what there would be a "2 thumbs up" film? Unless a Netflix owned/produced film or TV series has word of mouth or mainstream exposure I tend to not bother with them.

I've only heard of 'The Siege of Jadotville' from that list.

I absolutely love this film. Visually it's outstanding and the story is wonderful too. It's a really great one for kids and adults.

Yep, highly recommend this. I don't think many people have strength of their convictions at such a young age under such pressure. And then his heroics are just incredible.

Finished Godless this evening. Really enjoyed it. Looked incredible in 4k, most of the score was brilliant (poor in a couple of bits), and was engrossed in the story from the first episode.

    Definitely recommend it.

Yeah that would be great hopefully they don't go the same route as True Detective and ruin it by casting the wrong people for parts. Season 2 was hard to live up to from 1 though...

So finished watching series 2 of Fargo, while I enjoyed it I don’t think it was as good as the first one, I didn’t warm to the characters like I did in first series. Still I will be watching series 3 when it hits Netflix later this month.

Mindhunters will probably focus on BTK some bit anyway as was shown in first season.

I've been watching Death Note, the original animated version, and it's really good. Interesting concept and quite dark and twisty. Only 5 episodes in but so far I'd recommend it.
