Has anyone seen Outsiders or Underground?

Yes, I saw series 1 of both a when they first came out, I never went looking for a second season of either at the time but I see now they made it that far at least.

Was all slaved out with a triple dose of Underground, Roots and some other one I can't remember at the time. Roots was by far the best IMO.

Outsiders was only ok but seems to have good ratings so maybe season two picked it up.

I caught this late last year when Channel 4 had it, and thought it was pretty good. Tonally it's a bit lighter than the comic in part because the time over which the story plays out is compressed. The changes don't feel out of place - in fact, given the change of setting from US to UK they make sense. It's not a million miles away from I Don't Feel At Home In This World Any More, to my mind, which is no bad thing.

This sounds like it'll be right up my alley. This and Dirk Gently will be getting an airing this weekend.

Is the Danish version of The Killing gone from Netflix?

Ah ffs I literally just started to rewatch this last weekend, sure enough I can't see it there now.

Loved Dark and binged a load of them in one go

Gave The Good Place 2 episodes and just didn't like it. Won't bother with any more

Not sure if its been mentioned before but I am seriously enjoying Robert Redfords The West.

It's a documentary on the Wild West in the 1860s and it's very good. It's commentaries are a mix of historians and actors- Redford, Kiefer Sutherland and Burt Reynolds among others.
They go through the rise in fame of the people of that era. Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse, Custer, General/President Grant, Jessie James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp etc are all shown in clips that are like snippets out of movies. The Depression caused by the Railway scandal and the great Gold Rush are done very well also.
I'm only onto episode 3 of the 8 but I wish all documeries were of the same calibre.
For anyone with an interest in Westerns and history, this is a must watch.

Creep 2 is a good little horror, make sure to watch the first one first though. It's a a smart take on the genre gives a different spin to the found footage genre.

Another good horror is the Autopsy of Jane Doe. Well worth a watch.

Damn Fargo Season 1 is one of the finest crime series I have seen ever! Great performances all round especially Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton Colm Hanks and Allison Tolman. Just started season 2 first episode is ok hope it improves as it will be hard to top Season 1.

I thought season 2 definitely did top season 1. Looking forward to season 3.

Just finished up season 1 of Marcella.

It's okay, a bit far fetched and the amount of unanswered questions by the end are ridiculous!!!

I've just watched a French film called 'The climb' About this guy who climbed Everest with no experience. Thought it was a decent watch and funny. Based on a true story.

    I really enjoyed this one.

My wife and I have been watching Bordertown. It's a Finnish (subtitles) detective drama. It's very good. Have watched 1st 5 episodes so far.

Forgot I had watched this. Was good.

Sort of getting my school French back with watching La Mante and The Frozen Dead.
I enjoyed both and only 6 episodes each.

I loved Season 1, and didn't enjoy Season 2 tbh. Just finished Season 3 though, which I downloaded, and thought it was excellent (... I think it's being added to Netflix in late January).

    Highly recommended!

Reminds me of 30 Rock when they start making a Janis Joplin biopic and it ends up being about Janey Jompjomp featuring the song "Take Another Chunk of my Lung"
