I'd forgotten what a sh1tehole Charles de Gaul airport is.
There is one stupidly expensive restaurant and other than that it's crappy sandwiches or a McDonald's on ground side.
Rubbish choice of booze in the duty free.
It's about 25 degrees in departure lounge.

The place does does look smarter and the queues for passport and security are better than when I was last here, though.

Fück, I'll be glad to be home.

Are they security lights or still Xmas lights? If the former - keep everything locked down!

Christmas lights on the tree, very annoying, wish we had security cams.

    What grinches! I'd be raging!

I had to go to some hovel called Slough to get my National Insurance number. Then I had to walk to the train station and get the train back to Reading, just a fifteen minute walk. Struggled with my lungs the whole way (didn't stop me from popping into Primark though :D), got on the train and ended up back at Reading station. Wandering around trying to figure out where to get the bus back to my house when my lungs have a CF/asthma freak out spasm and I had to go into a coffee shop to take my inhaler and have a sit down. The woman in the queue in front of me giving me a wide berth because she thinks I have the plague :p

So so dead now. I hate my stupid lungs.

Fcuking 4 days into the new year and I'm sick again. My lungs are badly scarred now from all the infections, and debating whether I'm well enough to get the flu jab or not. I got violently ill after it last time >:(

The state of some of the cars in Ireland. I was back home over Xmas and honestly the amount of cars with their rear plate covered in dirt making the numbers completely unreadable. It started off as a "look another light out on that one" to "jaysus what's up with the shíííte covered cars?"

Also living in the UK all the chat is about the Ashes at the moment and how the English captain got bowled out and they're criticising him for not using a Nightwatchman. I had to google it, it was annoying me that much.

Longer-than-usual queue in the petrol station. At least five people long at the counter, and a couple of cars waiting in line for the next available pump too. The delay?

Some bint feeling the need to scratch the scratch card she had just bought there and then at the counter! And then she went and bought another one-even the old woman behind me was fit to let fly at her by that stage!

Ignorance/lack of awareness knows no bounds in some people.

TA that I now think I might be a bit of a brat because I would most definitely point out people’s stupid behaviour. Same with the person who said they had to endure smelly feet on the train.

A neighbour has started saving the parking space outside our house, using our wheelie bins. Not sure which one is doing it, but it's working out handy enough for me, I always get the space right outside my front door now. Trivial annoyance being having to get out of the car and move the bins before I can park.

Seriously though it is going to have to stop, if it means having to take the bins through the house into the yard for a few weeks.

I admit it's very trivial but my left arm is killing me after the flu vaccine on Tuesday . Feels like the muscle is being chewed by a tiger

The man who just interrupted my dinner to ask me to give money to Dog's Trust.

I want to help, really do, but I just can't add another weekly outgoing right now. Can't do it.

    And now I feel like a sh*t.

And I was just minding my own business having my dinner.

I think those door to door collectors sniff the dinner cooking and pounce on that house knowing you are in .

Have chest infection and my throat is raw from coughing. Cough bottles, honey glycerine and lemon and even chocolate only relieve the pain for a few minutes before I start coughing again. Ow.

People being pests and wasting my time.

How many times do people have to told?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,495 ✭✭✭KatW4

I have an irrational anger at people who can't stop coughing. I know it isn't their fault but I want to strangle them every time.

Even worse is when they try to hold it in and try to talk through it!
