Which phone to replace lumia 520 windows
    https://www.tescomobile.ie/phone-details/322/Samsung-Galaxy-J3?prepay=1
    https://www.tescomobile.ie/phone-details/366/Huawei-Y6-2017?prepay=1
will the sim card from lumia fit these. One says nano . I have to keep number

From what I have seen on other sites, people are reporting that Huawei Y6 2017 has touchscreen problems, in that the touch becomes unresponsive requiring multiple tries before it reacts to touches. That in my opinion would be headwrecking.

The specs of the Samsung J3 2016 overall are on paper less impressive. It is older, has less storage and RAM, and a smaller battery than the Huawei. But the fact that the Samsung takes same SIM card as your Nokia Lumia 520, and the potential touch issues of the Huawei, maybe the Samsung is the safer option?

    What about Samsung J3 2017?

You can get the Huawei P8 lite for €69.99 + €10 credit + €4 to unlock right now. Better specs and cheaper price than what you're looking at.

    What about Samsung J3 2017?

J3 2017 not worth anywhere near the €230 IMO.

I reckon the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 that Basil3 is suggesting may well be the best bargain you'd get at the moment. It's a much higher spec device than the ones you've mentioned.

For a P8 Lite 2017 you'd have to get a nano SIM card (the tiny one which the iPhone uses since the iPhone 5 came out).

Your current SIM should be a micro SIM if you had it in a Lumia 520. I'm pretty sure that Tesco will be able to provide you with one if you request it, and they will transfer your number to this new SIM, so you wouldn't be losing your number.

Another option would be that many phone shops have a SIM cutter device (kinda like a small stapler) that can line up your larger SIM and cut it down to nano size. Such devices are also available on eBay for the more adventurous who want to chop their own card. e.g.: https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Nano-Sim-Cutter-Converts-Sim-Cards-to-Micro-or-Nano-Card-with-Guides/263047589973?hash=item3d3edbb055:g:yvsAAOSw8UZaQodu

I'm yet to be spammed, and if they do, I'll kindly ask them to stop. Don't think that's reason enough to not buy a phone.

Believe what you want and buy where you want. I told my experience, i will not buy from cpw and will not respond to any more " i did not get spam" There is no need to take these details for a warranty

If anyone know where else i can get this deal or a similar one let me know. i do not need a top of the range phone
text/surf/read pdf / no apps like f**kbook or twits needed. Tesco have the J3 2016 for 149?
