I have a 10yr old Bravia tv and the HDMI doesn't work anymore. Went on Christmas eve unfortunately.

In the picture attached I see a screw over the port. Has anyone any experience of removing and replacing this or is it time for a new tv?

taking out that screw not going to do a lot. HDMI is high speed TMDS line, you can't just stick in a new connector

10 years old? count your blessings a modern tv lasted that long and go treat yourself to a new one in the sales :)

thanks, I suppose it's good time to be buying. That one is still working perfectly bar that input so bit of a pity.

Got a lot of use though. 1300 at the time to buy it so it's paid itself back I reckon

    Thanks for the advice
