Just as it looked to be stabilising too ffs.

    Dead cat bounce!

Personally, I'm not bothered at all by this. We will see a bounce off of long-term uptrends (another drop of ~25% to go), this sort of correction has been a long time coming.

I think a correction of another 66% would be a better correction. Take it down to ~ 4k

I personally think it will bounce on 8k, but you could be right. Fun times ahead.

It's the last day of trading for the pros before Christmas and the same thing happened last year, just relax, this will be forgotten like the 5 other major dips this year.

She's going down faster than a hooker at a stag party.

Feel blessed to have cashed out a few nights back. Will enjoy the prOfits over Christmas now and the pandemonium of watching the exchanges.

This is the problem, with so many coins spread over so many exchanges its hard to cash out quickly. I wish I had a magic button to get back to fiat

And having to go back to one of the larger alts before back to Fiat doesnt help

    especially when BTC eats profits

Oh well, seems everyone's in the same boat. Bright side, some of the smaller alts are starting to look like bargains.

Surprised that I'm calm about this event. Par for the crypto course I suppose.

Feel sorry for anyone who has bought in the last fortnight, it has been pumped relentlessly for the past month in the media.

Christmas is supposed to be a happy time.

All went up in last 20 mins or so. Bitcoin from 10k to 11.5K. Ether up from 450 to 520. Litecoin up from 150 to 200.

I have money in all three. So watching closely.

Lot of manipulation going on. Winklevoss boys will have to pump money back in to keep this afloat.

Writing on the wall when charlie lee sold all his stuff. Lads trying to appear noble while really just cashing out for Fiat profit.

Stop hitting refresh then. Just close the exchange and get on with your life. Ignore it.

Why do people do this to themselves? Enjoy your Christmas and come back in the new year. Checking the price constantly isn't healthy.

It'll go back up to levels higher than it has ever been as it always has. Ignore the doomsdayers. They are 0 for 1000 predicting the end of BTC.

I'm waiting to buy in, getting nervous that I missed the bottom at every bounce.

Ever think that the Bitcoin market is just too unpredictable to invest much in, just 100% gambling really?

If it was shares in a business you would have access to a lot more info plus possible dividend and also share certificates.

I understand a lot of users have made money on it but there was/is also the possibility that the same users would have made money through traditional gambling such as Paddy Power on Red/Black roulette, horses, matches etc.

I really think that a lot of people have got caught up in this without knowing much about it and due to the nature/risks of it could lose a lot of money.

Kraken is almost unusable. The increased traffic means the upgrades they are doing couldn't have come at a worse time as the site is just folding under the pressure

I haven't had a single issue on Binance. The drawback is I can't fund from a fiat account.

Yes and it comes across as if you are one of them! There is lots of information about Bitcoin circulated every day. Also you have the ability of viewing buy and sell orders/walls. Yes there are whales but the market is in it's infancy. Nothing has happened, there was a big dip, hodl and you will be fine if you have invested in good projects and researched it. Bitcoin is the daddy - it will be up again in no time at all. Fcuking violins coming out when there is a dip. Farcical.
