Had drinkypoos with an old friend last night. He is a good guy but when he gets to a certain level of drunk he repeats everything he says at least 3 times with increasing emphasis each time.

My boyfriend is due home this evening. I text him earlier to say I've no voice- "sounds perfect", he says. He'll be getting a firm kick up the arse so he will so he will

The parents have been waiting on a fella to deliver sticks and coal for a few days and no sign of him.

Mam hasn't been able to drive after recent surgery so I brought her in to help with the christmas food shopping. Queues in Aldi were as heavy as expected this time of year, but we got through it :D

Shopping packed in the boot and as we were conversing the heavy traffic on the way up to town to our final destination the fuel man rings saying he is about to arrive and needs to be paid etc. Dad would ordinarily sort that business out, but he was away himself.

So we had to navigate through the known shortcuts to get home for him, unload the first load of shopping, and turn back around to hit the traffic again, which of course had gotten busier in the meantime with schools finishing up.

And we still forgot the annual beer stockpiling :D

A myriad of TA's really-unreliable delivery man, heavy traffic x 3, busy shops x 2....and item missing from the shopping list :D

The fact that I almost invariably end up cooking a dinner that requires pan-frying spattery ingredients on the day the cleaner has been.

It'll be the best money you ever spent.

My cleaner currently earns more per hour than I do. It's still worth it.

Recent research has found that food and drinks that have been aged, such as dry aged meats and red wines, can cause our body to release histamines and create these allergy-type symptoms. To prevent a histamine headache, simply take a histamine blocker such as Claritin prior to having a glass of red wine.

Just took a Cetirizine tablet there (only antihistamines I have) and will have some red in a while. Hopefully will work.

TA that I have a cold...just before Christmas!

Insisted my boyfriend took me on a romantic date on the Ferris wheel at the Christmas market in town.
I envisioned that we'd walk around sipping hot chocolates holding hands, and then get a lovely Christmassy pic together at the top of the wheel.

The reality was I got vertigo, spent the whole thing trying not to get sick from the rocking motion and the sheer height, and was reduced to tears (much to his annoyance) when it stopped for 5 minutes at the top so we could take in a view of the city. I spent the whole duration with my head in my hands.
    Absolute fail.

    IT WORKS.

    Would you believe.

I've had two glasses of red wine since the last post and usually would have a pounding headache by now. No headache at all. It's weird because I'm expecting to get it any minute now as I would usually have a headache at this stage...but nothing! So thank you...maybe it is something I should have Googled before :pac: I do feel a bit drunk though after just two glasses of red wine..maybe that's also due to the antihistamine.

TA that I now have to have antihistamines with me whenever I plan to drink red wine.

Narcissists. And the fact that they really just cannot and do not change.

Men who label women as "hysterical" and react like little children when confronted with their behaviour.

Delighted. And this was from the same bottle of red wine that encouraged me to post the TA the other day. So it has definitely worked!

I somehow tore a big hole in the back of my work trousers. Damn badonkadonk! I seriously hope it happened after I got home and I wasn't walking around all day with my ar$e playing peekaboo.

Someone telling a story recalling a conversation their child had with them and use
"Mommy" when you know for a fact the child calls her "mammy".
Don't know why it bugs me so much but it gives me rage

TA I got a Christmas card from someone I know doesn't like me, she's made it obvious on many occasions. Now I'm thinking "what's she up to". Also TA at myself for being paranoid.

Took the wrapper off a Roses sweet and put it into my pyjama pocket about an hour ago and forgot about it. The flipping thing has melted into my lovely pjs! They didn't need to be washed otherwise.
