    26th January
One Day at a Time: Season 2
    Annie
    Bram Stoker’s Dracula
    [...]

Do we know which adaptation that is? I'm hoping it's the (somewhat maligned, but vastly underrated) Francis Ford Coppola version ...

    FFC version

Any opinions on Fauda? It had been highly recommended to me.

Fantastic. If you can get past Keanu Reeves' awful English accent, it's a gloriously over the top film.

Yeah, it's a favourite campy classic. Great makeup, practical effects, set and costume design too.

Didn't grab me right away but I might revisit it. Nobel caught my attention more. Probably helps that it feels higher budget and is also a bit less exotic than Fauda.

Really enjoyed Manhunt: Unabomber great performance from Paul Bethany and Sam Worthington, I see it was a Discovery Channel production that explains the frequent markers for ad breaks.thanks for the recommendation folks!

Makes me feel good about cancelling early January, seeing how they ramped the price again recently.

I’m old enough to remember when one box set or a movie would cost the same as all that.

I have saorview and Netflix. Saves us money and we are never stuck for stuff.

The autopsy of jane doe is a lot of fun if anyone looking for a horror film

Grand Hotel seems to be streaming again. It's a really over the top Spanish soapy kind of show. I found it very entertaining and a lot of the cast are ridiculously good looking. Perfect viewing over the festive period.

I don’t find the film selection great, at the tv shows are great they produce but sometimes I just want to watch a good film and it’s always a struggle to find one, and when u do find one., you will have to wait another couple of weeks for another good one to be added. Their Christmas selection of movies is pretty crap, same as last year.

I watched Patriots Day and it's well done but the fact that Mark Wahlberg's character is fictional kind of spoils it considering his involvement in key scenes in the movie.

He's a composite and while it's not ideal it does stop the film getting bogged down in trying to tell too many stories.

They say he's a composite but never mention who - that could just be an excuse to justify his presence tbh. I watched it and found it engaging but I only found out his character was fictional when I was reading up about it afterwards. I thought it was it a letdown shoehorning a fictional character into it - the story was engaging enough without having him in it. You still had all the main players in the film anyway.

It creates major issues in terms of believability and credibility in the film.

Not there for me either. It's on Irish TV over Christmas so maybe it's a UK only film.

3 episodes into Godless and it's excellent!

For that to become the given identity of women is a profoundly disabling notion."

Whatever you do don't watch The Vault, Terrible film not even so bad its good just bad. James Franco is it and has like 7 lines for some reason must have read the script and was like yeah not saying that!

It's real good, although I think some of the abrasiveness of the sound design will be lost for those without a good speaker set :)

Surprised it's coming so quick though: I know Curzon tends to be quite good when it comes to putting their stuff on Netflix, but it's barely out of the cinema.

Watched that last night, incredibly crap. They were all annoying but in particular the tattooed sister.

Read the description and said no. Glad I didn't.

Finished Manhunt: Unabomber. Well worth a watch.

I thought James Franco and Clifton Collins Jr. would have a more prominent role might have been decent then but without de-escalating in horror badly.

Think it has 4 stars as well, dafuq? What's the point in the start system on Netflix anyway. Stuff gets put up and has 5 stars.

Eh? I haven't had a star system on Netflix in months. Is it not all Facebook style thumbs now?

Haven't seen that! Use Netflix mostly on the smart TV.
