Phoned to provide my gas meter reading a few days ago and spoke to an absolute w***ker. I asked him his name and he told me, quickly followed by, " do you want me to spell that for you?"... I was gobsmacked so asked for a supervisor who subsequently listened to my call, phoned me back and gave me 30 EURO off my next bill. Very decent but I was appalled at how the CS agent handled the call not to mentioned shocked.

There is so much acclaimed shows to catch up on and so little time :(

In addition to sick leave and annual leave, we should have netflix leave.

People who are late for everything. I have a friend like this and she is always late, no matter what. I used to think it was just when she was meeting me but other people have said it too. I know a few other people like this too. I wonder do some people just not track time properly? Or do they not know how long it will take to do something? Or just don't care?

I freak out if I'm running late for something and get really anxious. Maybe I just relax a bit about it. Or other people should just start being on time.. :pac:

This irks me too. If someone says "be ready for 8" I'll bloody make sure I'm ready for 8, even if I'm not fully ready I'll never leave someone waiting. I have a friend however who if I say, "be ready for 8" I can guarantee I'll get a text at 1/4 to 8 saying "running late, head on off without me".. but I wouldn't do that, so I wait for her, and she's never ever on time. Then when I go to collect her shes another ten minutes before she gets in the car. I wouldn't say I have anxiety or anything but being late gives me major palpitations!

I'm going out with said friend tonight and already TA'd at the "I'm delayed" messages before they even arrive.

Went out to buy some chicken fillets and came back with chicken legs by mistake! How does someone do that!?

What's the best way of cooking these monsters?

Two question there. First one, don't know. Second one, fry them.

What are you cooking them with? You could season them with salt and pepper or if you have any other spices and oven bake them at 200* for half an hour. You could brush some BBQ sauce on them for flavour.

On second thought put them in the freezer and go back to the shop for the fillets.

Use the down time at Christmas to see if there could be any cook books or internet recipes for chicken legs available. Bit of a long shot I suppose, but could be worth it.

    Excellent. Oven bake it is.

This could be the greatest mistake ever made.

If the chicken legs turn out well, might be more apt for poster to post in 'Trivial Things that make you happy' that's what I'm hoping.

My TA' CAN'T buy a new card wallet anywhere. Shops too busy selling bling and rte guide with pair of ice skating gouchos on it.

tell her to be ready 20 minutes before you actually want to meet her. see how it goes.

TA that people continue to use gay when they mean weak.

Spend 5 minutes with my mate's fella who plays rugby and tell him he's weak. I'd make sure you can run tho!
